We actually wondered away from tapi carpets next door (as none would acknowledge us)

A staff member (stefan) was working alone but still acknowledged us while serving a family. He apologised for the short wait, was super helpful & recommended the best underlay/door strips for our needs.
I work in retail so can appreciate his excellent service.

Paid almost over £400 for a piece of carpet to be whipped and turned into a rug. Ive patiently waited 8 weeks so far for my order.
Was advised by Keith 2 weeks ago to call back 2 weeks later, called him back this week only to be told I need to call the Milton Keynes store! Feel like I’m being messed around here and given the run around…. Only used you guys as you’d pestered my interior designer for business!! Wont be using again or recommending….!!! Absolutely livid!!

I would highly avoid,

After receiving a initial quite I decided to pay for it £2,100 not INC fitting. We was told it would be fitted by the end of the month, however what I failed to notice as this wouldn't be the case and the delivery dates and fitting dates would change so many times.

16/10/22 - I spoken to and was reassured by (Addy - Name spelling could differ) we then arranged for a split fitting on the 29/10/22 and was told he'll book that in.

Dated - 24/10/22, I was now informed that they don't fit the vinyl they sell unless it was on the bathroom only, so this is now making me very hesitant if they'll even do a good job. Let alone when we'd actually get our carpet fitted, was originally the 29/10/22, then 05/11/22 then 07/11/22 and now towards the end of the month, but there is still loads of room for them to change this.

Refusing to give me the measurements now to.

Well where do I start
Phil the manager of this store in Northampton was so rude to me he had me in floods of tears and to top it off I gave the sizes of my rooms which were done by a professional and carpet right worked out the meter age I needed and after fitting hall stairs landing and front room I had 350cm by 310cm left over a total of £305 left over so angry I am a single mum of 5 and really couldn’t afford to loose that amount of money
Go elsewhere as the entire experience was traumatic and had a major impact on my mindset after escaping domestic violence and having a disabled child and having to do a entire house after fleeing the area we lived in at short notice and now having to deal with all this has been to much to deal with.

Good selection of carpets to choose from, sales staff very helpful in providing a estimate for our requirements. Priced within our budget range and organised a visit for measurements to be done.

Bought A Carpet From You Last Week. I Found But Found Service Appalling. Walk In Shop Seen The Carpet I Wanted, Went To The Desk You Salesman Asked Me Want Do You Want. I Said I Want To Buy A Carpet, To Take Away I Said Yes Be About 30Mins Said That I Would Wait. He Carried On With His Desk Work. Made Me Feel If I Was A Nuisance. He Called A Colleauge To Help Gut Carpet From Roll, He Said He Was To Busy I Been Watching Him Since I Came Into Shop . Been Talking To Fitter None Stop, Keith Was The Sales Man Dealing With Me, Being A Very Small Man Could Not Pull The Carpet From Roll. So I Was Helping Being A Pensioner Found This Not Very Professional, He Folded Carpet Walked With Me Towards Door Put Carpet Down Walked Off. I Called Him Back Saying Im Parked In Disability Bay With Blue Badge. He Said Not My Job To Put It In Car, If You Have CCTV In Your Shop It Will Confirm What I Have Said.

My store experience was fantastic with Kieth being very helpful and attentive and clearly very good at his job. The carpet is lovely. Unfortunately it took a month to get the carpet fitted and the fitters left loads of mess behind despite "hoovering" - including nails and sharp debris from door bars - thankfully I found all the sharp bits before my 10m daughter did!!! They damaged our daughter's bedroom wall but won't pay to repair it, door trimming is expensive- £25 per door!!!! It sounded like the fitter said £5/door otherwise I wouldn't have agreed to it. And even then they didn't trim all the doors. They left loads of sawdust from the door trimming with no effort to clean it up and dumped our new mattress upside down half against the wall when they moved it back through. We complained in writing with photos and the store management don't want to know. We only went there because our insurance company gave us a voucher for there as part of the repairs from a water leak. Not happy.
