United Carpets And Beds Cardiff

Picked a lovely carpet and underlay best I could afford. Staff in shop and who came out to measure up were great. Carpet fitter arrived on time and fitted carpet. He was in a hurry to leave and I assumed it was because of the rain just starting. Looking at my hearth, the carpet is uneven and hearth chopped. After 2 trips to the shop, fitter returned and said it is because of the concrete under the hearth and the thickness of the carpet/underlay and denies chipping my hearth. He suggested a rug to cover it. The original carpet was not so up and down but he says he has glued the carpet down and nothing he can do. Absolute waste of money. The moral of this story is inspect before you pay, and take clear before and after photos so you have proof. Shop say nothing to do with them as they dont employ the fitter.

Good selection but only few in stock and takes weeks to get them in ? Staff friendly but one or two automatically sell you highest underlay without even asking you ..??? I had to go elsewhere as weeks before my caret came in 5 days from another company shame as I do like this shop turn around to slow thou

Helpful friendly used them for years the nice lady who helped us today nothing was to much trouble,and the gentleman who measured up so helpful and tells it how it is won't stray you wrong 👍

Always a pleasure to vist and staff are always super helpful. Good carpets and fantastic prices wouldn't go anywhere else.

Customer service was very helpful ordering carpets for 2 rooms over the phone and the fitters were brilliant. Very happy and will use again

Not bad....you have to buy u/lay yo get "free" fitting. U/lay is pretty inflated

I'm not usually very excited about carpet shops, but the staff were super helpful and knowledgeable, not pushy, and fitted us in the following day to have the new carpet laid. They were really helpful on email prior to visiting, too. The fitter who came the next day was superb and very fast. Would use again.
