Obviously mistakes do happen and Mothers Day is a busy time for florists. However, the manner in which this was handled was unprofessional, upsetting, deeply offensive and dishonest. The Manager/Owner knew full well the contract lay with her and that at the very least she should have made some (courteous) effort to resolve the issue. As the recipient of these flowers I feel very upset that a loving gift ending up causing my daughter such distress.
The approach of the lady when we walked in was rude. She asked what we wanted and when I said I wanted to discuss wedding flowers. She spoke in a cold, harsh manner “do you have an appointment”. I didn’t however, she could have been polite and said can I make an appointment so that we could have a discussion.
She then went on to tell me I should know what flowers I would like, asked to see a photo and then continued to be negative, unhelpful and to be honest rude.
Getting married is stressful enough and when you go to someone in a field that you don’t know for advice and to pay money. It doesn’t bode well for a business when you are confronted by rude, harshness and feel like you’re being told off and as a customer, it’s just not acceptable.
I walked out disappointed, upset and annoyed, I wanted to support a local business but will not be using this florist.
I went into the shop to spend my money in the local area I live in to order 2 sets of flowers and send them to Kingston hospital to say thank you to 2 nurses who looked after me. Lady was very unwelcoming and said "can I help you?" in a very cold manner. She was very unhelpful and not willing to help or deliver and wanted to charge too much to deliver. I left the shop and went elsewhere.
The nurses have been our heroes from lockdown and I decided after my treatment to show them some appreciation for the hard work they do looking after us. Shame on you, you wanted to charge me £10 each for 2 bunches of flowers to be delivered to the same department.
I called Forget Me Not Florist and received the best customer service, great price flowers, affordable delivery charge, and a generally great, pleasant experience.
Due to the current global situation, we were unable to visit the florist to look at examples and flowers and had to discuss requirements over the telephone. The florists created beautiful, fresh, displays and tributes exactly as we envisioned.

definitely be using this shop for our flowers in the future.
