If i could give 6 stars I would! Ordered flowers for my friends birthday online as I live near Chester & within ONE hour they were with her! She sent me pictures & we both agreed they are absolutely fab! Fantastic service & beautiful flowers. Cannot recommend Roses Are Red highly enough!

I always get flowers for all occasions here... staff are friendly and great selection of flowers for price I want to pay! I got some flowers for Mother's Day for my mum and mother In Law and sadly one bunch wilted after 2 days😞 When I called the shop to explain the staff were amazing and told me to pop in for a replacement bunch which I collected shortly after! Amazing service and would definitely recommend!

A great place for all your floral needs, even during lock down. The staff are always pleasant and helpful, and the prices are good. I have been going there for years and have had never had a complaint.

Had some flowers made here for a funeral. The spray was perfect and exactly what I asked for. Staff were so lovely and helped me last minute. Will definitely use again

I am all for supporting local business. I have shopped here before and was served by a nice lady who met my requirements. Today when I went in I was made to feel so uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I mentioned that I was after a bouquet to go with my gift and that my budget was £25 and that I would like to choose my flowers. That was enough to trigger a rude, unprofessional and totally inappropriate response from the blonde hair florist. I wanted mainly roses, which are £2 a stem however she said that was unrealistic and kept mentioning the word cheap. I showed her a bouquet I got from another florist for the same budget. This angered her even more and she started to undermine the other florist saying the flowers looked dead and that she would never sell them and I should go back there. Then made jokes that that florist would probably be out of business and is shut down. She said I was rude and I should go to a petrol station and that she chose not to serve me. I found her behaviour outrageous and told her that she was extremely rude. In fact, £25 is not cheap for a flower bouquet with the current surge in the cost of living. How do businesses expect to survive with such poor customer service. I was so taken aback by her approach and mentioned her to a few friends who surprisingly had similar awful experiences from this shop. This is shameful of them for not accommodating to a customer’s budgets and making them feel put out.

I am unsure whether it’s a mistake or just sheer ignorance that a bouquet of flowers my mother ordered for me came under the name of, ‘Anita,’ despite my mother spelling my simple name out and repeating it numerous times for the florist, where neither an I or a T were mentioned.
Unfortunately, for me, it seems like sheer ignorance, I highly doubt had flowers been ordered for an ‘Anne’ they would arrive for an ‘Amy.’
As I have read the other reviews concerning this business, there have been complaints of dismissive staff members and this is proven further with the passive aggressive responses given by the staff on here, comments which I’m sure I’ll also receive.
I would advise staff members to ensure clarity of ethnic names so as to not continue with their ignorant and careless behaviour. But even to ensure clarity over something as trivial as a name that may seem unusual to you, is indicative of an ignorance nature itself.

My local florist but I have decided to go back my home town florist in Hammersmith. For the extreme friendliness and personal touch I would rather spend the extra money and journey there. I rarely pop in to grab some flowers but when I do they are rather short with me, barely no eye contact and not very welcoming. I just don’t feel welcomed their shop. I’m not au fait with names of plants and flowers and the way the lady with blonde hair corrected me recently was very condescending. I also find the arrangement lacks creativity and not all that great. Previous florist that was there years ago was amazing; she was fab and always had time to even have a casual conversation. She knew exactly what I liked and sometimes I would even pay more just because of the service. Shame.
