However customer service is very disappointing. On the first occasion I had had trouble paying online so emailed just to check it had gone through. I received no response so I phoned to enquire. I was told that the email had probably gone into their junk folder hence not replying. No apology. I felt like I was being a nuisance.
I gave them a second chance and ordered again online and received the automated response saying my order had been received. Money came out of my account so I assumed all was well. The flower delivery was important and so I just phoned to check the flowers had been delivered. When I phoned they didn’t recognise the name and no they hadn’t delivered.... they said they would check and phone me back. They then phoned and said they had now found the order and they would deliver the flowers that day as I had originally requested. No apologies whatsoever and no explanation given as to why they hadn’t received the order . If I hadn’t phoned the flowers would not have been delivered.
I chose to use a local business to support them but I was so disappointed and shocked at how unapologetic they were and how emails and internet orders get lost.
Maybe they are really busy or stressed or having a difficult time but sadly don’t feel I can trust Jacaranda again sorry. I hope you can sort out your emails and internet orders so other people’s orders don’t get lost.
The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, would definitely recommend and will be reusing
Despite prepayment in full and more than a week's notice, the shop was grudgingly opened up 20 mins late (with myself and 2 other customers waiting outside in a snowstorm) only to be told that we were "lucky" she had opened at all. Not a word of contrition or apology.
If this young lady wishes to build a reputation, she'll have to try a lot harder; the floral arrangement was good, but this is a very full price florist and "other brands are available".
