My husband bought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Valentine’s Day. Normally they come with instructions on how to look after your flowers, with food to prolong their life. But nothing accompanied the bouquet that had cost £30. When I rung up to ask why these instructions and food hadn’t been put in with the flowers, it was that they had no food to put in with them! The flowers had broken stems and after 2 days, the smell from them was disgusting. It permeated through the house and smelt like cat pee. Changed the water daily, but the smell was so bad I had to put put an oil scented burner on to mask the odour. My husband complained and the person on the end of the phone said it could be the pink lilies. Why put foul stenching flowers in a beautiful bouquet? Disappointed, as we have had wonderful bouquets in the past from this shop.
