Great food and some lovely plants, however was a little disappointed in the guidelines with covid, know it was the last day of the current rules but still should have been into affect especially as there was lot of people there

Nice place. Freindly, modern, good coffee with nice seating in and outdoors. Great to find a place like this not swamped by dogs for a change.

Hadn't been here for a month or two
Disappointed to find...no generous helpings of the gorgeous Welsh butter and yummy sourdough bread they did when first re opened.....
Feels like there are cut backs everywhere....
The coffee was good though..

Loved the previous rustic cafe and garden centre. Now there are pink plastic blossom trees and plastic orchids. Such a shame.

Massive face-lift since November, extended nursery, many more tables, proper Coaltown coffee. The owners have worked really hard to refresh this cafe and it shows. The menu is varied and broad, it will please most people. Great spot if you're nearby. Kids' inside play area quite tiny (and only for 1-3 yr olds, really), so bring something for them to do if they don't fancy running around the gardens. Parking is at a premium as it's so popular nowadays, park on the road if caught out. They could improve their cake selection, too.
