A very disappointing afternoon. Despite having to book in advance and the hotel therefore knew how busy the session would be… I counted seven groups. We were seated and told our waitress would be through soon. 40 mins later we received our first drinks and waited a further 40 minutes for our Afternoon Tea food offerings. Others were suffering the same experience. We could not leave as the receptionist took our gift voucher off us before we were seated. Poorly trained and inattentive staff were seen intermittently at best. Same few staff were seen previously in the pub next door. If you cannot manage a service provision you probably should not be offering that service?
