I cannot recommend this practice enough! As soon as Mr Barrow examined my foot and demonstrated clearly how it should function and why it wasn’t doing that, I knew he was an expert at the top of his game. Being a yoga teacher and fitness instructor, I am very aware of my own body and I knew I had chosen the best care for myself. As I needed orthotics, it was absolutely the right choice for me as Mr Barrow makes them himself rather than sending away for them like most other podiatrists. My whole experience and treatment was so professional, friendly and thorough. I have recommended him to my class members and friends and my new orthotics have made a world of difference.

I went to see Peter Baron with a foot problem causing me severe pain to the arch of my left foot. He spent a great deal of time both listening to me and examining both my feet and watching me walk.
Following this assesment he recommended custom insoles for both feet and said that laser treatment may be helpful. I was due to go on a 4 day golfing holiday the next day and he showed me how to tape my foot to help support the arch.
I collected the custom insoles and he walked with me in the street to assess any issues and advised me that I might be in pain for the first 10 days but to persevere and we would review in one month.
The reduction in pain was considerable, meaning that laser treatment was deemed unnecessary, and I no longer need to take Ibruprofen. A most friendly and professional practice which I would whole heartedly recommend.

I have seen Mr Barrow for 10 years now as he was recommended by another local professional. He clearly has an incredible passion for his work and explains in technical detail what your body does and what it should be doing. I feel entirely confident in his abilities as a podiatrist and can see definite improvement due to his custom insoles.

Excellent, professional service. I had suffered for several years with problems with flat feet. I was having a tremendous amount of pain and finding walking very difficult. I had been provided insoles via the NHS, which I had to pay for, but only offered limited relief. During my first consultation they were able to offer a complete diagnoses and offer temporary relief pending specialist insoles being prepared. I now have custom made insoles which have made an enormous difference to my whole life!,

I visited Mr Barrow on the recommendation of a friend and I am so glad I did.
He immediately diagnosed my problem and explained it to me in detail as well as explaining what could be done to help.
After an assessment he then custom made orthotics for me and the difference is amazing. I can now walk further and faster than I did before with no more foot pain and a lot less pain in my back.

Having had the experience as a child of shop bought/other insoles and always having foot pain, finding Mr Barrow and his cleverly designed orthotics has changed my life. I can’t recommend Mr and Mrs Barrow highly enough. I was referred by my physio for an assessment and immediately felt confident with the examination and explanation of my problems.
