Cole Green Way Picnic Area Car Park

A disused railway yard, but nice for all that. It can be parked out, there is not much space but the pub next door is very friendly about allowing of peak parking.

Free car park with space for about ten cars and a picnic area. Lots of walks through beautiful countryside can be accessed from here and is on a disused railway that runs from Welwyn Garden City to Hertford. It is better to explore the countryside on either side unless you are particularly interested in looking at hedges on either side of you.

A free carpark which has quite a few spaces. There are plenty of picnic benches and some are in the shade. There is a lovely walk up the disused railway which goes from Welwyn Garden to Hertford.

Beautiful location, easy parking. Various trails (length and terrain) so great for walkers, cyclists, families and dogs. It is possible to walk till Hertford from here- takes around one hour.

Definitely would recommend, an enchanting place to be with nature and relax; very quiet and peaceful.

Perfect place to take young kids with bikes and scooters along old railway line route. Quiet, flat wide and no cars.
Great pub round the corner for pre or post too.

One of our favourite ! Plenty of routes to ramble about along the disused railway line. Pathways across wheat fields past streams and small woods, terrain is largely flat Great for bikes & buggies. Meetup with the farmers Sheep & local wildlife. Parking free slap bang next to dog friendly pub well sign posted throughout.

Tiny car park, but very quiet. You are spoiled for choice as to where to go from here, want a walk in the woods? Plenty of directions to go. There's some fields over yonder. There is a disused railway line that runs through here and it still has the station platforms here. Very picturesque I need to take some pictures soon

Great place to go for a walk and have a picnic if you desire. Can walk for miles if you so wish. Usually nice and quiet
