The Bluebank Pools car park is ideal as a starting point for a walk on the Chesterfield Canal. It's really easy to access (on Station Road) and parking is free, which is a huge bonus. It's lovely to park up here and then walk along the canal to Staveley Basin. The only downside is that the car park can fill up easily in the summer months or on a good day, and there aren't many alternative places to park to walk on the canal. The good news is that The Mill pub is next door to the car park, so you could call in there and use their car park if needs be.

A few picnic benches. Sat with a takeaway coffee from a local cafe. Nice walk to Hollingwood hub

A tranquil beauty spot where one can be close to nature and enjoy the outdoors. A free car park for a few cars or bikes too, and a nice walk with some lovely views.
