Elizabeth was very helpful, very polite, put us at ease after having some issues previous to my Aunt arriving to Ison. She went over and above with things we had to do and she didn't rush us. Every step of the arrangements were precise and as we wanted. I also felt it was lovely that Elizabeth kept in touch after the funeral to check that we were happy with all the arrangements that had been put in place. The service was absolutely 5 star

Our father’s funeral was managed with care by Henry Ison and ran without any hitches or problems. Family and friends commented afterwards that it was a ‘lovely send-off’.
Elizabeth was extremely patient with us as we developed the Order of Service. We wanted a celebration of dad’s life, so took out words such as ‘eulogy’ and ‘order of service’ so it all felt very bespoke.
To ensure that all the family were happy with the plans, there were changes along the way to what we had originally agreed with Elizabeth, but she accommodated our changes without any fuss. We must have driven her to distraction wanting the line-up of the text and pictures ‘perfect’, but with her help we achieved just what we wanted, and she made sure that we were happy with everything at each step of the way.
Dad would have loved his send off – the music and feel of the service was a mixture of sad reflection at losing a generous, lovely man with joyful memories of who he was.
Elizabeth was conscientious and considerate and gave us good advice without being bossy! The drivers and those attending the funeral were kind and professional, stopping up the road at dad’s mum and dad’s old house on the way for a moment’s pause.
If it is possible to have a ‘nice funeral for a loved one’, then I think we had that - Henry Ison made the experience seem uncomplicated and respectful, and we were grateful for their care. Sandra White

I was very happy with the service offered for my dad. The funeral arranger Jenny was very kind and sympathetic. She was well organised and helped to take the pressure off at a difficult time. I can’t praise Jenny and Elizabeth at Henry Ison enough. Jenny had organised my Mum’s funeral 2 years ago. Her empathy and attention to detail was outstanding, When I sadly had to bury an elderly close family friend this February, I didn’t think twice about using Henry Ison. Again, the service that Jenny provided was faultless. The service and organising the cremation was not straightforward. One member of the family was living overseas and Jenny liaised with him on a regular basis and navigated her way through difficult and complex family relationships. The actual ceremony was lovely and ran very smoothly with the help of Elizabeth the director at the service. I cannot recommend Henry Ison in Kenilworth enough. Jenny made such a difficult and emotional time, so much better than I would ever have anticipated.

My father had the best funeral. Every member of staff was excellent throughout the whole procedure. My step mother and family thank each member of your staff, specifically, Darren, Jenny, Campbell, Kevin, Lindsay and the accompanying courteous gentlemen on the day, including the evening of Dad's passing. Everything was perfect with every respect for our Baha'i traditions.

My father's cremation was handled with genuine caring and the utmost tact and professionalism. Jenny could not have been lovelier or more helpful. Dealing with her was a very moving experience when kindness and compassion were most needed.
