I can't recommend E Sargeant and Son highly enough. I had never arranged a funeral before and they were the first people I thought of when my dad passed away. Kat was the first person I spoke to and she was so kind, caring, compassionate, sympathetic, friendly and everything she did and said was with empathy and professionalism. She helped me to arrange my dad's funeral and she was there for me all the way from the start to the end when I collected my dad's ashes. Thank you to all of the team, you're amazing, can't remember all of your names but you were all so kind and helpful.

I cannot thank Rob and the staff for helping organising my mums funeral and on the day of her funeral. Rob was very kind and professional. Always went out of his way and made sure we were comfortable.

Rob and his team were fantastic in every way during a very sad and difficult time. They showed respect and understanding of what we were going through. They did a marvellous job on the day of the funeral and were very professional through out. I would highly recommend them. The girls in the office were also amazing through out our visits to the chapel of rest.

Rob and the team were amazing when helping us ensure my Dad’s send of was as wonderful as he was. Rob listened to what we wanted, gave us time to decide and then made it all happen without a hitch. I cannot recommend them enough, every call and meeting we had with them was brilliant.

Pam was absolutely brilliant and made the process of arranging my sister's funeral much easier. Rob Newman and the palberers were very professional and treated the coffin with respect .

The team at Sargeant & Son were professional from the first phone call, to the consultation, down to the actual funeral. Abbie the initial consultant and Rob the funeral director were outstanding in the respectful service offered to our family and to our Mother whose funeral they conducted.

Wow amazing service. The service was exactly what we wanted. The orders of service were such high quality and we were told we could change the draft as many times as we liked until they were what we wanted. When seeing mum in the chapel of rest before the funeral they had painted her nails. She looked beautiful. The staff knocked the door before we entered in to see mum. We were looked after so very well during the funeral arrangements when seeing the staff face to face. All e-mails and phone calls were managed swiftly. Nothing was any trouble at all from beginning to end. So respectful of all needs. It is the third family member that has been looked after by Sergeants because of knowing that the service you are going to receive is at the highest quality. The whole building is warm and inviting and when feeling so sad it does really give you somewhere to go where you know you are going to be looked after so well and listened to. We had everything we wanted to be able to send mum off as we had planned. Emma did a wonderful job painting mums nails. She looked beautiful. Ali and the other lady were just so kind and caring throughout. Just amazing service at the highest standard. Highly recommend Sergeants and very confident that anyone using this funeral director would not be disappointed at all. Thank you to all the amazing staff especially Ali and the other lady in the office for the arrangements.
