Oliver and Sam helped me plan a really beautiful funeral for my father. At our first meeting I was so impressed when they asked all about him in order to make everything as personal as possible. They watched a short film I had made about him and I really felt they knew him. I was very touched by the kind and sensitive way they themselves collected my father from home after he died. This was so important at such a sad and difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble in the weeks we spent planning the funeral and a separate burial and everything went off very smoothly. They also spent a lot of time helping me create a beautiful order of service. I highly recommend Exit Here.

Sam and all the team at Exit here were incredibly supportive before, during and after the death of my mother in July 2021. Sam was on hand any time day or night to give information to help us plan her funeral which we so appreciated and was always so compassionate and sensitive with the details. My mum really liked their "less traditional approach" with modern coffins, urns and beautiful flower sprays. She would have been very pleased!
The service was perfect and exactly what we wanted and Exit Here really did go above and beyond to make sure everything was covered and we didnt feel the burden. Beyond the funeral they have also welcomed us to coffee mornings to talk about our grief in a safe space with other people in the same positions, and we truly feel supported. Sam and Oliver arranged a beautiful service and reception for my wife that did everything we ever would have wanted. They were caring and helped us through every step of the way. We hadn't made any plans prior to my wife passing, so was astonished that there was a lack of bespoke services in the London area, so was relieved to have found them since I wanted something really special for our friends and family to remember her by. I wish them every success and can recommend them whole-heartedly.

The first time I called Exit Here I was received with such a warm professional manner I felt this was the place for my mothers funeral arrangements. I'm pleased my intuition was right. They took care of everything we could possibly need support with. We could not have been happier with her send off. The day was perfect. Everything we asked for was on point. The procession was beautiful to watch. My mother was sent off like a queen. I was so touched to see everything we planned go together so well. My moher would have been so proud of all her children.

Both Sam and Oliver asked me about my mother and listened to me talk. I felt they were genuinely interested in my story and at I felt gently guided by them both when planning my mothers funeral. At no point did I feel pressured to make any decision and my whole family were very pleased at the way the day turned out. Both my young children were able to be involved, choosing to ride in the hearse at the last minute and having the space and encouragement to read their own words at the service.

My husband Paul died at home on a Saturday afternoon. Sam from Exit Here came into what was a surreal, shocking and distressing situation and with her grace, experience and reassurance made it feel natural. She and her colleague took Paul to Exit Here where, when we visited he looked a lot better than when we'd last seen him. 'Make up?' I asked. 'No,' she said, 'No need.' We could see him whenever we wanted to. Gentleness, grace and humour defined the excellent care we received from Sam and Oliver. We were encouraged and helped every step of the way to give Paul a brilliant, and totally unique send-off that truly celebrated him and his life. Every detail was taken care of as we were expertly guided into new terrain. Several people said it was the best funeral they'd ever been to, but really what helps us is knowing that we did the absolute best for Paul. Sam and Oliver having played an important part so beautifully at a crucial time people's lives do not just disappear after the bill's been settled. They host fortnightly coffee mornings for customers which feel like a port in the storm of all-enveloping grief. I am very grateful to them.
