We used James Harper for my Nans funeral in October. I must say that they were excellent. A very difficult time for our family but nothing was too much trouble. They were polite and sympathetic and accommodating as we added our own personal touches. Staff were professional and friendly and everyone who attended said it was a lovely send of. A big thank you to James Harper and would highly recommend. Many thanks again.

We recently used James Harper for my husband’s funeral. My husband was only 46 and we have three young children and so we wanted something that would be a true celebration of his life and one in which the children could be involved. Ian went out of his way to accommodate our requests. He stayed in close contact and generally went above and beyond to provide an excellent service. Though it of course was one of the saddest days of our lives, it was exactly as we wanted it to be and I have nothing but praise for Ian and his team. With our heartfelt thanks. Hannah Freeman

We recently used James Harper for our mums funeral and throughout the entire process they were caring, empathetic and professional. When we first went in to the office on Plaistow roundabout we were understandably heartbroken about losing our mum and were looking for a team who would make us feel as though they were giving us a virtual hug and would look after mum like she was their own. Ian gave us this virtual hug and throughout the process we felt that the whole team cared. From when they collected mum from home to the moment they dropped us off after the service they looked after mum and all of the family. James was our celebrant and delivered a truly beautiful service, everyone who joined us for mum’s send off remarked on how beautiful it was. They are all a truly lovely team and we would highly recommend them

Very polite, helpful and supportive. Assisted us in understanding the process and the services available that would meet our needs, and made clear the options without any pressure to select one over another. Excellent management of the details to ensure there were no issues on the day. I cannot thank Ian and the James Harper team enough.

Absolutely fantastic. We used James Harper for my sisters funeral and we wasn’t disappointed with the level of service and care we received. We previously used co op for my Dads and had the worst experience and so was delighted when we chose James Harper. Karen was the leading lady and although new to her role she went above and beyond to help in anyway she could, from the fine details to having lengthy chats in the office, nothing was ever too much. We chose to use their celebrant and again he was fantastic. Reece led the funeral service was also very pleasant and so dignified with how everything was conducted on the day. I 100% recommend James Harper for delivering the care and dignity your loved ones deserve when they pass away.

We used James Harper for my husbands funeral at Beckenham Crematorium in October 2022. Throughout the whole process they showed compassion and professionalism. On the day both staff and cars were presented immaculately. They recommended a Celebrant to us, James Huntington, who was also excellent. We would certainly recommend James Harper.
