I would like to thank David and Angela for their professionalism, sensitivity and care in arranging my brother’s funeral. They reassured us and nothing was too much trouble. They took good care of my brother whilst in his care and treated him with dignity. For a horrible distressing time they made it less stressful and more bearable. We can’t thank David and Angela enough for the beautiful service my brother had and all there advice, suggestions and support.

Could not have asked for more!
David and his team dealt with my father’s passing in the most sensitive & dignified manner. They honestly could not have improved in any aspect of the service they provided.
My father’s passing was not only my first family death but also my first experience of a funeral. Never mind having to arrange the whole thing from scratch! I didn’t have a clue where to start. I worried about songs, eulogies, hymns, order of service and so much more. David took me through everything step by step. He gave me plenty of choice and more importantly, the time to process everything.
He communicated with me frequently by email, phone. I was sent lots of examples of stationary ect. David also assisted in arranging contact with the church.
Following the service, David’s colleagues waited patiently whilst everyone had chance to pass on condolences ect.
They also provided me with what I refer to as a ‘memory bag’ which included a printed book full of pictures, the order of service ect. They even took the time to take pictures of the flower arrangements. On the day itself, everything passed by so quickly without me getting the chance to step back and reflect on the day. My ‘memory bag’ has given me a lifetime of now being able to sit down, reflect & remember happier times. I was not expecting this at all! The memory bag is a lovely, thoughtful touch that just proves the dedication and commitment that Phillips has towards the families that they assist.
I can’t hold Phillips funeral directors any higher than I already do. They made a sad experience into a more bearable time.

He always had time to see us even without an appointment as we are just round the corner. The day went well, nothing was too much trouble for the team. I can’t thank Phillips & Son enough for all their help in arranging my mums funeral. David was sympathetic, understanding and so helpful. Everything I wanted to happen, he made happen. I had no clue about arranging a funeral and having to do so for my mum was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but David made it such an easy process by taking all the worries away and arranging everything on my behalf. Even the funeral director on the day of the funeral and the drivers were so lovely and helpful, they showed family bearers how to carry the coffin and let us do things at our pace, they explained what will happen at every point. Mums send off was beautiful. Thank you David and Philips & Son for everything you did. I would recommend this company to anybody!

My step-father passed away at the end of October 2022. They had a funeral plan with Dignity. I got in touch with Phillips and they could not have been more helpful. Everything was done to make things easy for us at a difficult time. Sue sorted out the paperwork with Dignity and we had a meeting with her to discuss arrangements for the funeral. Sue is obviously very knowledgeable about the whole process and answered all our questions, making suggestions when asked.
Sue also recommended Kev as a celebrant who we found to be really understanding and came to us for a meeting within a couple of days. He was so good that my Mum said that she wanted him to conduct the service for her funeral.
All in all a very good experience.

Thankyou so much for the great guidance, kindness and support your team gave to us a family when my Grandad died in October 2021. My aunty was reassured and guided by Davis Stanley very well as my Grandad died in London but wanted to his have his funeral in Corby. David explained & sent all information verbally/ emailed her how to contacting your London branch, how to obtain his death certificate in order for us to bring him back to your branch in Corby. The personal distress for my Aunty and us a family was eased by the lovely way my Grandad lay in state in his tuxedo , as he requested ,in your Corby branch when we wanted to view his body. This could have been traumatic but Lauren welcomed us, made us cups of coffee and prepared us very well, hence the experience was a beautiful way to say goodbye to my Grandad.
We as a family want to say a big thankyou to your personal & kind guidance and for making my Grandad funeral very special on the day in keeping with the high standard he would have wished.

Staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging the funeral. The day went smoothly with all staff being extremely professional. They made the day very special.
