When my father (Alan Young) died in April, we of course had to think about the funeral and due to a good friend recommending Lymn's in Mansfield Woodhouse, we decided to go there. During this difficult time, they have been there every step of the way, and nothing has been too much trouble. We (myself and his wife Mrs Young) were guided and given reassurance. Whenever we spoke to a member of staff they were just so lovely. It made the process actually far easier than either of us could have imagined.
They took such great care of my father and we will be forever grateful for that, the experience has given us lovely memories of even the funeral itself, the simple bowing to the coffin and just general presence.

We honestly can't thank the staff at Mansfield Woodhouse enough for all they have and continue to do.

Ever the professionals everything from start to finish was superb on such a bad occasion and day ..The team who helped and sorted things Elaine ..Andy couldn't fault one bit they was understanding helpful ..bent over backwards to accommodate did everything we asked respected our and the families wishes ..Used them for my farther 18 yrs ago and even then my mother knew and asked be us to use them again she'd of loved everything they did.. big thank you to Elaine for being so understanding with all the changes and the guy who looked after mum and walking in front of the car etc( didn't catch his name) ..he was so very professional courteous and made the whole thing so special that even other ppl made remarks ..like I said of the whole team couldn't of asked for more really was a 5 star service from start to finish at such a bad time for us ..Big thank you to you all

The staff are very friendly and helpful they looked after my nan mrs grace saxton and made nan looking lovely so thank you for looking after our mum and nan and great nan thank you for everything. Love rach mrs grace saxton granddaughter x

My husband passed away recently and suddenly at the age of 52. The staff at AW Lymn were so incredibly helpful and professional and really helped me through the most awful time. I was in shock and they guided me through each step of the way and in all aspects of the process. They treated both my husband and me with respect and dignity. On the day of the funeral it all went as well as it could have under the circumstances and they remained professional throughout. The celebrant has been amazing, so kind and thoughtful. Thank you all for your kindness and support.

On behalf of me and my family I would like to thank the Mansfield woodhouse branch for their kindness, guidance and professional assistance with my mother's (Betty Hough) funeral on 14th June 2022. From the initial appointment Stacey made it very easy to start to plan for my mother's funeral with empathy and at a steady pace so we could take in what was required. I met with Jonathan prior to the funeral and he was lovely, on the day he was amazingly professional, with dignity and kindness, guiding us through at a delicate pace making the final departing of my mum a special ceremony for all who attended. We had 2 doves to release which was a beautiful experience to finalise the ceremony. Thank you Jonathan, Stacey, Wendy and to all the staff that helped ease our sadness on this day.

Totally professional and warm hearted, not a thing out of place and exceptionally helpfull.
Nothing was too much trouble for them, they helpedme and my family at the worst time,and gave my dad the very best service.

I attended phil hewitt funeral at mansfield crem on 16th July. There was a young gentlemen there. For his age he acting with dignity and professional. On making my way out crem he said to me sorry for your loss. He was smart, polite, and as I said before for his young age. We have used funeral companies in the past, and I shall be recommending your company.
