Could not have been more professional. Dealt with Ann on our initial appointment who dealt with everything very clearly and offered advice and options we had not thought of. Wayne the Funeral Director called me the day before to introduce himself and confirm everything for the following day and it all went just as he had said in a totally professional but caring manner. We had a Humanist ceremony conducted by Kerry Tomblin (recommended by the Co-op) who was EXCEPTIONAL - she helped with putting together the tribute to my husband and had obviously taken the time to prepare so when it came to the ceremony she was fully versed in how to put it across and most of the mourners thought she was actually a friend. She made a very difficult day more bearable- Thank you again Kerry.

This funeral company is the most unproffesional downright rude and uncaring company i have ever had the displeasure to deal with.

My father went into the Co-op FuneralCare on London Road in Kettering recently to arrange the funeral of my 34-year-old sister.
He dealt with a Rose Underwood, who wasn't just cold and unsympathetic towards us when we both went back later that day - I would go as far as to say she was hostile.
It seemed as though everything was too much bother and her manner and the way in which she spoke to us was extremely rude. It turns out we should have booked an appointment to go through everything, instead of just turning up later the same day, which she explained by saying to my father "If you remember, I said you needed to book an appointment." I understand that we weren't following their usual procedure, however we were the only ones in there that day (as we could see from the COVID-19 sign-in sheet).
Also, as you can imagine, it's a very difficult time for us as a family and my father who has just lost his youngest daughter should have been forgiven for not remembering that, with so much else going on. I think this member of staff may be in the wrong job.
I do have to say, though, that the Co-op team we then decided to deal with in Leicester were absolutely fantastic - they were sympathetic, respectful, patient and understanding - everything you would expect from a funeral directors. The lady from the Kettering branch needs to take a leaf out of their book.
