On Behalf of my family I would like to thank Phillip, Lee and all of their team for their support and professionalism. From day one they supported our family through our bereavement. They made the whole process as easy as it possibly could have been at such a difficult time by being supportive and giving us advice all the way through. The chapel of rest is beautiful, it felt homely and peaceful, it gave us peace of mind that my dad was resting at such a peaceful place. It was a beautiful setting for family members who went there to view him, or when planning the funeral and service. My father was not particularly religious, after discussing this with Lee he was able to deliver a service that was more a celebration of life, and although a sad occasion also provided the right amount of positivity and humour as my dad had wanted. We had many comments of what a beautiful service he had delivered. We were also touched by Phillip walking in front of the car from the chapel of rest which my father had always wanted, and was an appreciated mark of respect.

On behalf of us all as a family i would like to thank Phil and all of his team for their support, sympathy and professionalism when our mam passed away at the end of March. After contacting Phil and meeting him for the first time we instantly as a family knew we had made the right choice. On moving our mam from her house to the Chapel of rest , a red rose was placed on her bed. Phil kept us informed every step of the way and made our very sad time as easy as possible for us. We had the use of the beautiful Chapel for the service and the cars we were transported in were immaculate and spotlessly clean and at the end of the service with it raining Phil's team held umbrellas above our heads when going from the Chapel to the cars(a very personal touch). Without doubt our mam had the service and the send off she deserved. We would highly recommend Phil and his team for anyone looking for a caring , sympathetic and wonderful funeral director. Several people who attended commented how beautiful the Chapel and service was and without doubt we will be looking no further than Phil and his team for future family funerals. from the first meeting with Phillip I felt at ease and able to convey my own and my husband's wishes on the type of funeral my husband wanted and to feel that those wishes would be carried out to the letter. Phillip was compassionate, understanding and very caring at this difficult time. Lee who officiated at my husband's funeral was amazing grasped the essence of my husband and delivered the eulogy exactly as I and my husband wanted. I cannot thank them enough for all the care they took in supporting myself and my family at this difficult time. The written praise we can give Lee and the team won’t come anywhere close to illustrating our deepest gratitude for the way in which my mum’s funeral was arranged for and carried out. Lee is the consummate professional when it comes to understanding what relatives need. The whole team though are outstanding and can’t do enough for you. Lee arranged everything to ultimate satisfaction and perfection. The whole day went without a hitch, I’m glad to say - and that’s down to Lee’s professionalism. All showed the greatest respect at all times, which was hugely appreciated. If you ever need to engage a funeral director, make your first call to Lee - you won’t be sorry.

Sadly my mother passed away recently, Phillip and his son Lee had arranged my late fathers funeral 16 years previously. As soon as I contacted Phillip, he dealt with everything, he guided me and my brother through a difficult process with ease and compassion. My mother who had liked Phillips temperament from the moment she met him, all the staff at Phillip G Davies and Son were nothing less than wonderful. Dignity, compassion and a guiding hand. Words cannot express how grateful we are for the level of support Phillip and the team have provided our family. Phillip has, and continues to show, genuine care for my family after the passing of my dad.

Phillip is a genuine, caring person and is a credit to his profession. He has handled every aspect of the funeral without rushing anything and regularly checks in on my mum to make sure she is ok.

During the funeral service he accompanied my mum at all times, family members thought he was a close family member because of the kindness and care he showed, going above and beyond the service we would expect. Philip and the team have provided a professional yet personal service, and we are extremely grateful for everything they have done.

We contacted Phil and his team when my dad sadly passed away in May and would like to say a big thank you for helping us arrange my dads funeral at a very difficult time giving us all the information and advice we needed. Phil and his team were so caring, sympathetic and professional and made the whole process so much easier to get through. It takes a special kind of person to carry out this job and you can see this with Phil and & his team who went above and beyond to help with the whole process. The chapel of rest is such a beautiful warming and welcoming chapel and couldnt have asked for a nicer place to pay our last respects to my dad. It helped a lot knowing he was in such a peaceful and comforting place. Phil and his team were also supportive and very professional on the day of the funeral and even after dads funeral we had support from the team. When we requested to keep some ashes these were presented in a beautiful pod. Cant thank them enough and highly recommend.
