I've really enjoyed dealing with Richard from Milkwood Furniture. We've had good and helpful communication about the work we wanted to have done. He's been great at suggesting creative solutions to a specific joinery project and the final piece is beautifully finished. We couldn't be happier and are already planning our next project with him!

From initial consultation to the final installation of our furniture we have been satisfied in every way. Richard took great care to understand our concept and helped in developing the final design. His work was meticulous throughout and this shows in the fit and detail of the furniture. Richard was always courteous, considerate and punctual and it was pleasure dealing with him.

Richard designed, produced and fitted a display cabinet at the foot of our stairs, along with a connecting bench seat. We wanted to use the space and he came up with suggestions and advised what could work, and what wouldn't. He was always professional and reliable. Very meticulous, showing great attention to detail. He carried out the project with very little disruption and left no mess for us to deal with after. We were left with an amazing, finished product, for which we are extremely grateful.

Richard did an excellent job with designing, manufacturing and fitting the desk and shelves for our home office. He was thoughtful, consultative and insightful. The quality of the materials used is outstanding and the home office looks fantastic. And I am particularly pleased that as part of the project, Milkwood Furniture has now planted 31 trees in a reforestation project through Mossy Earth.

Really impressed with the service provided by Richard from initial contact all the way through to the installation. Very approachable and professional with various options discussed supported by photos and then regular updates provided again with photos as the shelves were being made. The project was not entirely straightforward as the shelving was on 2 walls of a listed building with strange angles and flint walls to contend with but we are delighted with the outcome and the shelves look beautiful. Highly recommended.

I am so thrilled with the bookcase and linen cupboard which Richard has made for my home. As well as being extremely professional he was a delight to work with; he listened to what I wanted and we worked closely on the design of the bookcase fine -tuning the specifications until they felt just right. The quality of his work is exceptional.

I commissioned Milkwood to build me a home office. We decided on oak for the desk, bookcase and display cabinet. Despite the problems of Covid every detail was discussed and checked by email. The result is fantastic, the workmanship excellent. I had to wait as Richard is so busy but certainly worth the wait. Would highly recommend Milkwood
