Quite simply the best furniture we have found anywhere, and we have looked extensively. The customer service and care is second to none with exemplary advice from Ophelia who helped us through the design, choosing and buying process, as well as coming with Mark to oversee the delivery. The delivery company that Amode use is also exceptional in its service: we have seen many different styles at one end from dump and dash through to the personal and friendly style exhibited by Amode's partners. Believe me: it makes a BIG difference. I unreservedly recommend Amode for first class, and stylish furniture with outstanding service.

Service throughout was excellent. Ordering was made easy for me. And the delivery guys did a fabulous job. They were entirely unfazed by the need to lug the component parts of my tables up 56 stairs to my terrace room (or at least they said they were), although I reckon they had the equivalent of a good gym workout by the time they had finished! I hope the rest of their day was less demanding.

I am absolutely delighted with my acquisitions.

Fantastic quality furniture (bedroom chest of drawers and bedside tables) Como design.Very helpful pre-sales and fabulous no quibble after-sales service (thank you Katia) to replace a bedside table drawer which had a small flaw. Only downside is a long lead time. but worth the wait for the quality of product.Would not hesitate to recommend Amode to anyone wanting quality contemporary furniture.

Purchased over £10,000 worth of goods 4 and a half years ago, table and 8 chairs, long low gloss cabinet, standard gloss cabinet and a mirror. The majority can only be described as expensive tack, dining room chairs (£350 each) all upholstery cracked and ripped, gloss cabinet chipped, door fell off after day 1. Only good item good, the table. A amode response to chair issue, don’t use in rooms with windows. Had an upholstery specialist visit who stated that coverings were of cheap Chinese origin. Steer clear of the company.

Great Italian style and helpful staff. We have bought from here but only go if you have a healthy bank account, but it's best design and we'll made our TV unit is perfect. But it was at a price that might just not be great value.

We purchased our Massimo glass dining table only 8 years ago for £1400+ and have been left extremely disappointed by the quality of the product and the after sales care we have received from the company. Given the price we paid I would not have expected difficulties at this stage, but one of the levers which controls the extending arms is inoperable and we are now unable to extend the table at one end. I think I can count on one hand the number of times we have actually had to extend the table over the years so I cannot believe it is of such poor quality. However speaking to their customer aftercare service I have been told the table is no longer in production in Italy and there is nothing they can do. This is a word of caution and something to think about when making a purchase and if in the future you need a repair or part.

They have equally been very dismissive and not helpful in trying to resolve the problem and despite asking to be able to discuss my concerns with the owner to date the owner has not contacted me and the after sales person has ignored my emails and not bothered to contact me or to follow up.

My advice would be to think very carefully about the item you are purchasing, how it is made and what materials are used, what aftercare they are able to offer especially if their supplier in Italy stops making the product and to ask how they might undertake a repair if the item is discontinued. One would have expected a dinning table at this kind of price to have lasted more than eight years and for the company to have a better after sales approach but can’t help they don’t really care having got your money. Personally I would not purchase something again from a company that specialises in items from Italy it does make it difficult if they stop production or your item needs repair - the company does not offer a repair service.

Extremely disappointed with this company, we recently purchased a dining table for over £2k which not only took longer than promised to arrive (with no contact / response to our emails to advise us when delivery would be made) but arrived with scuffs, discolouration and scratches to the side. The defects were logged and photographed with the courier on the day of delivery almost 3 months ago now. The company did not get in touch to rectify the issues and it took us chasing them to get a response, they said they would get back to us, and never had. We have sent several follow up emails and even called only to be completely ignored or fobbed off. Extremely frustrating given the price of the item and the fact that the furniture is high end / luxury, you would expect the after care and customer service to be of a similar standard. I would think long and hard before ordering anything from this company. If I could give zero stars I would!
