I have had a on going issue with harvey’s From the day my sofa was delivered. Requirements were and still have not been met!
The staff have continually lied and blamed one another for there mistakes! Which I feel is very poor team work! If one makes a mistake it’s the team who accepts the blame, not to blame this person and that person!

I have never known a company especially one this size! To ask a customer to pay there delivery driver with there own money! This is outrageous! My supposed to be brand new sofa was scratched! The person who brought it had no knowledge of how the specificcstions worked I.e the recliners! He just said I’m just the driver!

The manager who has dealt with my issue is Sam who is the current manager today! Was unbelievable the best talker ever! Making out how much he understands and contiously saying how sorry he was! But when it came to resolving the situation! There was little action!
I highly advise anyone and everyone to not make a purchase from this store! And if you choose to ignore this! Make sure you get everything in writing! Or emails!
You will be told one thing on the day! But after taking your money, and having you signed on the bottom line! You will mean nothing to them!
Please record all your conversations as you will need this later to fight your case! Which is bound to happen!

And please ask about the refund policy as they will prolong your case, delay till you can not leave than you are tied in! Which means they will win! Just like they have done to myself!

Worst experience with Harveys

Ordered an expensive couch from Harveys in August. I was given a delivery lead time of 12 weeks, although quite long, I accepted it and patiently waited. Finally delivery was scheduled for November. And on delivery day I wait at home and no sign of the delivery people. Tried to ring Harveys 10 times and no body is even picking up. Absolutely disgraceful and this equals to day light robbing of customers.

I really had a great time here shopping because of a member of staff name Nasima as she was friendly, knowledgable staff as i had not much of idea of what things i needed so she was there to advice me on what potential house hold items i may need. Harveys Good value for money Sofa,tables, chairs and accessories.

Ordered sofa early January. Was told 9-11 weeks delivery. Its been 5 months, still nothing. All I get when calling is, is a dead pan apology about delays. I had to contact them to find out about the delays, they did not once contact me. And this is actually after several delays, and several lies about when to expect my products.

Probably the absolute worst company I have every dealt with. Due to the lies I was spewed about delivery times, which was the reason I ordered over their competitors who are located right beside them, I will be contacting trade standards, and raising this issue further.

I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Bought a 321 set. Quality Well short of expectation. B graded leather. More than expected Stretch marks / leather on joints looks bad even just after few weeks. Leather looks like a thin paper. See the picture of back seat.

Very rude staff & management attitude when you complain about a product which has been sold to you.
They are only interested in your money to sell you their product and extended warranty but when you raise a concern, they are not interested and start lying and protecting their staff.

The gentleman/sales assistant was very helpful. I took my house and door measurements and was advised the sofa I was ordering was modular so should be okay to come through the door. On the day of delivery the two delivery drivers turned up and said we cannot take this through without a proper inspection. I said to them to give it a go, and they said no, only if I have the window taken out. I said the Sales assistant had advised if it would be difficult it could be broken down into smaller peices, but they gave me a blank look. I quickly went and called a window fitter to take the window out, at that point they had dumped the sofa on my drive and said they couldnt wait two minutes for the window to be taken out. The window fitter helped me take the sofa through the window, and I assembled whilst trying to attend to my 2 year old child. The delivery drivers had no empathy or patience. Questionable customer service when your spending £3000.
