No 44 Furniture & Fine Things

From my experience I think the reviews to date paint a poor reflection on what my wife and I both felt was excellent from start to end.
We loved the selection of furniture in what I would probably describe as a tasteful selection of very smart to ‘shabby chic’ styles. Basically to suit any good taste in my opinion.
The staff were very professional, helpful, relaxed and professional.
We bought a 2m oak dining table with bench and 6 chairs which had to come from Denmark plus a few bits and bobs to be clear and they couldn’t have been more helpful moving stuff around as we decided the set we wanted.
The delivery was to the expected time frame in time for Christmas and even the delivery guys were cool.
So Merry Christmas guys and thanks for a brilliant service and product.

First couple of purchases went ok, but third one, when we ordered a custom made dining table and chairs, took months longer than promised. We were not kept informed by the store, and had to chase repeatedly for updates. We found the service poor overall, and thought that the manager / owner (not sure which he was) was unapologetic and rude. Won't be using them again.

I would not buy from this shop ever again.. they have provided me the worse customer service ever. And when you call they do not return your call or get back in contact despite leaving messages. Their customer service is just beyond poor. I purchased items and paid months in full in advance. Items turned in poor quality then when tried to call they promised new items will be replaced in time and eventually was told it would be June before new item would be replaced.. despite paying in full in November.. Got a refund. However the other items also had a fault but my call was never returned.. I was told manager would call me back but never got the call.. I would say go shop at Baker and Stones in Guildford instead.. much better service and they do similar furniture!

I absolutely love this shop, the beautiful selection of furniture & accessories is always so tempting especially as some of the pieces are exclusive to No.44. which makes them even more special! I've bought all sorts of things from tables & chairs, to cushions, lamps & lovely faux flowers...The staff are always super helpful too & very friendly. Go & see for yourself.

We had an unfortunate mix up with our order here where the product looked different in the catalogue to what turned up. However, the shop issued a full refund and took the item back. The other furniture we ordered is great and high quality.

Visited this fabulous shop yesterday ! Gorgeous furniture and objet d’art . Staff very knowledgeable and friendly ... fantastic customer service . Can’t wait to visit again to buy one of their beautiful dining tables !

Delivery drivers are awful, incredibly rude and make you extremely uncomfortable.
When talking on the phone one said ‘I CAN’T BE A**** TO DO THIS’.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Wanted to support a local business but next time I will just buy cheaper online.
