We looked all over for a decent sofa bed. We should have popped into Birds first. They had a better choice than any where else we had tried. We ended up buying, what was, the most comfortable bedsettee we had tested to date.

We were assisted by a lovely lady member of staff, who couldn't do enough for us. She showed us each of the options and allowed us to try them out. She was honest and importantly - good fun.

Excellent service continued when the two man delivery team arrived to cart our new (very heavy) purchase up our stairs. They , again, were great fun and made the whole thing easy.

It must be 20 years last I visited Birds, they have some beautiful pieces of furniture. Quite a lot of their pieces are not as expensive as expected. Well worth a visit, you'll find items you find elsewhere. Really enjoyed visiting.

This place is amazing! It's a hidden gem that should stop being hidden. Lovely stock, lovely service. Take my money!

We have always bought our furniture here. The sales team are friendly and knowledgable and the delivery team are punctual, polite and work hard. We recently bought a huge wardrobe which needed assembling in a very tight space. The guys came on time, assembled the wardrobe with no fuss and left the room neat and tidy, taking away all the packing materials. Another great job completed. Thank you

Great selection. Helpful staff. Worth a look

First time visiting MJ Bird and Son. Had ordered some bedroom furniture from Oakworld, an Internet based company.
The furniture arrived and the quality was shocking as we're the assembly instructions. We decided to send back and visit MJ Birds as five minutes down the road.
First time, larger premises than what we thought, large choice covering every taste. Extremely helpful and friendly sales staff.
We kicked ourselves for not coming here first as superior quality with many of the items already in stocks and at what we considered a great price, assembly was also offered at a small fee which we jumped at. Ordered on Sunday and put up on Tuesday! The two lads who delivered and assembled were polite, professional and advised on shelf configuration. We purchased a bedroom wardrobe and a mirror and would definitely recommend and visit again.

Went to look for a new sofa and found one. The staff were lovely I will be back for the sofa.
