Funki Homes

I ordered a chair for a 30th birthday present for my partner and was skeptic due to the reviews. I then had a call from Cult furniture to say the chair I had been looking at had come back into stock (one available) and would ship within 48 hours. I decided to call funki homes first before cancelling the order to make sure they had it in stock. They assured they definitely did and I would receive it in 5-7 days, so I decide to stick with the first order. 4 days later I receive an email to say the chair is out of stock and my order is going on ‘back order’. I’m so so annoyed as now the chair is of course back out of stock on cult furniture 😩 I should have just followed my gut feeling (and the reviews) and cancelled my order with this company.

Do not buy from these people. I ordered a rug nearly 3 months ago. It has still not arrived. I have called numerous times and been told that they will call me back to let me know when the rug will arrive. They have never called me back. Now they are not answering phone calls or replying to my emails.

Seems to be impossible to get in touch with this company... getting rather concerned as I have had no update on my order or email to tell me when to expect it.. The number they give on their website seems to take you to a mailbox which is useless. I have called, emailed as well as left a facebook and instagram message and am yet to get a response.

Ordered a storage bench and paid £245.70 in full on the 10th of June 2021. The website stated it would arrive 3-21 days due to Covid-19. Three weeks later, no sign and not even the courtesy of an email. Phoned customer services who apologised and stated that it was not due in stock until the end of July. I advised that the website stated otherwise and was assured this would be changed. I agreed to keep the order as the bench required is an unusual size but would cancel if I found an alternative.
19th of July (still no contact from the company) I phoned again and was told that it could be August before I received my purchase. Having lost total faith I ordered an alternative from Wayfair which arrived the following day! Phoned Funkihomes customer service again to request they cancel the order and action a refund. I was then told it was arriving that Friday....too late I had the new one and I don't trust this company now.
2nd of August 2021, still not received my refund, sent 3 x emails, none responded to. Next step will be seeking advice from Trading Standards.
