We only went to look but the sales chap was so attentive & helped us to choose correctly 5 stars Oakfurnitureland for great quality & good staff

We have looked for a new sofa for a long time, but just couldn't find the right one until now. So pleased with our sofa, it's beautiful and perfect for us, we were also surprised at the price, very reasonable. Stephen the sales guy was great and very helpful without being pushy, left us alone when we needed to discuss and there again when we had questions, it really felt a no hassle smooth transaction, wish everywhere adopted this style it just take the hassle away from shopping. The collection of furniture was also amazing.

Plenty of choice in this store, staff pleasant & willing to showcase the merchandise, have bought from here before, quality is good.

Such a pity! Please think twice before making a purchase here. I wanted to be a customer but my order was never delivered.

How can new customers feel confident that any products they pay for will be delivered?

This is what happened:

- Two months ago I paid over £1k in full for a new bed and mattress. Eight weeks delivery time isn't great, I thought 'Oh well, all good things come to those who wait'. The products do look good.

- Eight weeks later... I fly back from a family Christmas break to take delivery of the bed. 20 mins before it is due and an SMS arrives to say the bed isn't in the warehouse?!

- A call the day or week before to alert me to this would have been helpful. Nothing. No contact whatsoever.

- Still out of pocket for the bed + flight booked to be back for the delivery. Bed refund could take a week or more.

- No explanation and it took ages to get through to customer services by phone. I went to a store to find out in person what happened and was told 'we only do Sales'.

Ordered a beautiful table and chairs from their Ayr store. All well I thought until the delivery arrived. Chairs lovely, table top perfect, then my hubby who was attaching the table legs said "we have a problem"! They sent three left table legs and only one right table leg!!! So off to the store only to be told I had to get in touch with customer service. Not at all helpful and no apology. Went downhill after that. After phoning several times in 6 weeks to their after sales department and being promised that another table leg was definitely being sent nothing was delivered although a delivery refund was given. Meanwhile no table to eat at. I also sent an email to which I still haven't been given the curtesy of a reply. Eventually told that a new table was to be sent two weeks ago on the 16th of this month, Friday, nothing. Phoned yet again to be told they were waiting for me to give them a delivery date!!!! Anyway at long last a delivery slot was given for last Tuesday, the 20th and we are now eating at a beautiful complete table. I have never known such absolute shockingly dreadful customer service from a company and although we haven't had any problem before now this has put me off buying anything more from them ever again. And to finish off this story we were told that the original table which was taken away, was to be broken up. What a total waste of a beautiful piece of furniture which only needed four correct legs. Dreadful!

Purchased a console unit arrived today very happy. Also bought an oak bed in 2020 lovely no issues with product all good quality. Mum also bought bedroom furniture this year really happy with it. Sales people in Ayr shop very helpful especially Ian . Would buy again if needed anything.

2 sofas and oak sideboard bought and large display cabinet and two oak tables bought in store first delivery date wasn’t met and no correspondence.We had disposed of living room furniture so no where to sit given another delivery date and furniture arrived but sideboard smashed to pieces they offered to refund £150 after a bit of arguing.We refused and opted for a replacement.Replacement arrived and it was damaged as well they offered £120??? Discount and managed to up it to £150 the other option was to get it repaired.We accepted the refund solely because we just wanted an end to it all.We will never set foot in a store again

Waited 3 months for bedroom furniture, first delivery eventually arrived but the was damaged. The replacement arrived today and looks like it was put together by 5 year old. Drawers won't open because the joints haven't been made correctly, cracks in the wood and the drawers don't fit properly so you can see through to the back. Just generally shoddy and badly made. Rang to report it and the customer service agent was unfriendly and unhelpful. She seemed surprised I wasn't happy to wait ANOTHER 3 months for a replacement. I've had better quality from IKEA at a fraction of the price
