Bought quite a bit from Barnett's after we moved into the area and needed to renew the existing appliances. Simon is brilliant, loves banter but also knows his stuff giving excellent advice in between. Prices are fairly competitive and well definitely worth checking out first!

Service was good knowledgeable even got a plumber to install our cooker. Even offered to take old cooker away if it was disconnected however the plumber was late which happens. Delivery men rang plumber then said he'd be there in 15 mins by which time delivery men had gone saying they'd return in a couple of days for old one. I rang the shop today to ask if they were still picking it up. It was the same man who sold me said cooker. He then ranted on about the cooker not being ready to take away and that was the deal. I'm not a qualified plumber so couldn't touch the plumbing side of things. So no it wasn't ready to take. He then accused me of saying I was accusing him of not doing the job he had stated. Ramble ramble ramble. He did not give me chance to explain I'd been told pick would be in a couple of days. Not that it probably mattered as he liked the sound of his own voice to much and probably wouldn't believe me my next question was to ask was did he know anyone that could as I don't live in wales and have no contacts. When I asked if I could explain his answer was you can but it won't make any difference as a will not be coming back for it. I put the phone down on the arrogant knowall. I'll go elsewhere in future pity really needed a washer and new fridge. I suggest he take a course in learning how to listen. That's the hardest part of customer service. Trying to resolve a situation rather than accounting blame.
