All interests, abilities, game duration and type are catered for! Got some really helpful advice on finding the perfect game for my large family of young adults
Fully recommend! Go support a local business instead of tax-avoiding internet businesses
My partner ordered Gloomhaven from Rules Of Play via the website. It arrived damaged, to which my partner sent emails to the store but never got any form of reply. When I was next in Cardiff I went to the store to talk to them, but the manager wasn't about to talk with as he was in the Bristol store. I was told to email them again on the same address that we never got a reply from & also to contact MyHermes direct to sort it out ourselves. My partner yet again sent an email to Rules of Play, with again no reply & the same for MyHermes but they are a completely different kettle of fish!
My first time here, I came from Devon to visit my family Cardiff & have recently got in to board games again since I was a kid. A great shop, but some games are quite overpriced compared with online sites. I wonder if the shop does price matching or not, because if they do I will be buying games from them a lot more & have them posted to my home address in Devon.
Definitely worth a visit if you like board games or are interested in starting to play them. Helpful staff with good knowledge of games they sell and different types of games they sell.
While it is technically wheelchair accessible it's a small shop or getting around would be pain especially in self propelled chairs or larger moterised ones. Definitely think it's one shop you'd be more reliant on staff assistance and some parts you definitely would be able to get too like the TTRPG section. However a lot of that is limited by size of store and carrying large range of products.
Working in customer service myself this is not the satisfactory way to communicate with consumers as a business I would highly advise you to give all call operators much more training ...
In store staff are usually amazing.
