The Gamers Emporium

Warm welcome and informative staff. They helped us choose what would suit our needs (as beginners), without being pushy. They answered any questions we had about suitability, cost and suggested other things we might enjoy. They seemed to have a wide choice of games and accessories, so if you're a bit more experienced there's plenty there to keep you interested.

Great atmosphere and collection of tabletop games (and accessories). Excellent staff who are friendly and have a wide range of knowledge on products.

EDIT: We brought Dominion and some MTG decks. Dominion was more expensive than other places, but we are more than happy to support this level of service and the boon that it is for the gaming community.

Deserves the incredibly high rating. Went in looking for 2 player games fit for a travelling couple and the gentleman (owner I believe) who dealt with the query had a monstrous level of knowledge and recommendations. After some research we plan to return and buy some games, but only because of the amazing service and expertise in here. They also offer generous spaces to play and test games before you buy for £3 for the day which is excellent value.

After visiting many different gaming shops this one was by far my favourite and where I found myself splashing the most cash! The staff were welcoming and super helpful, after noticing my arms were overloaded with goodies one staff member approached me and offered to keep my items behind the till so I could keep shopping comfortably. As someone with anxiety I find most gaming shops to feel claustrophobic but that was not the case in The Gamers Emporium and will definitely be returning again with my boyfriend soon!

Not a gamer, but my son and his friends love the place. Has been renovated recently, a great place if your into table top games.

Great little shop with a wide range of gaming items at a pretty good price. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, I would recommend this shop to anyone interested in TT gaming.
