Ongar Garden Centre

Lovely garden centre plenty of stock great selection of flowers, plants and trees/hedging. The cafe is very good, although a little pricey but service is good. Outdoor seating is very comfortable in sun or shade. Large area for parking and pick up heavy items as well as a huge range of compost, topsoil and decorative stones and chippings.

We had a lovely day out and went for Sunday lunch at one of the nearby very well rated pubs. Got what we needed and some great ideas for our garden.

Very good garden centre to visit and wander around.
They have a massive range of plants, tools, seeds and just about anything you can imagine or want.
Also if you get tired and hungry from all your perusing there is a cafe for food and drink with indoor and outside seating.
They even have a wheel chair available if a friend or loved one has dodgy legs and can't walk very well.

What a pleasant visit to a crispy clean garden centre. We sat outside by choice and the breakfasts were spot-on. I didn't see all the plants but those I saw were perfect. Many gift ideas to choose from inside as well.

Had many visits to this garden centre, mainly for coffee & cake. Lovely place to meet your friends for a catch up. Lovely staff too..

Always reasonably priced with a good selection of plants and stock. Plus now the weather has turned colder a lovely coffee or meal in the restaurant is very welcome.

Enjoyed walking around the garden centre and took advantage of the half price sale.
The highlight of our visit was without doubt our lunch in their restaurant. Comfortable seating you could fall asleep in! Delicious food served by smiling, pleasant staff. A very relaxing time which will ensure we return in the future. Thank-you, especially the ladies in the restaurant.

Changed ownership in recent years and now seems much improved. Plants seem better looked after, shop is better stocked and I love the bargain rack where you can buy plants out of season for a knock down price

Lovely little garden centre which suits those who need a level surface without steps. The staff are friendly and approachable and there is an excellent outside area with good space for the plants.
