Harrogate Garden Centre

Nice little garden centre with some good bargains to be had. Well laid out and easy to navigate. Very nice staff and great service. Also serves bits of food if you want some snacks. We bought a nice plant pot which was very large, priced at £200 but had a 50% discount, so an absolute bargain at £100.

Excellent service from staff and I got some good deals with veg plants. I misplaced my car keys and staff were brilliant helping me track them down. Will definately be back again for more plants or just a coffee and cake.

Yesterday I visited the garden centre and bought over £150 worth of bedding plants, several in biggish containers. By the time I left it was near closing time and there were very few customers around.
I was served by a pleasant young man but given no assistance in transporting the plants even when it was clear I was struggling to get them back to the car. I asked for a couple of suitable containers but was told they didn't have any and just offered a bin bag. I went back in to the shop and politely asked again for even a basket which I could return as I live locally. But no, they couldn't help. This is unacceptable. I am an elderly lady and had spent a considerable amount of money. Someone could surely have dug out a couple of boxes for me, or even offered to help get the plants into the car. You are a god garden centre and handy for me, but I won't be coming again..

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting here with my husband and children. There was a fair bit of choice, nothing out of the ordinary for a garden centre and prices not to bad in the store but cafe is very expensive for small portion sizes although very tasty. Only given 4 stars as not much of a menu choice in the cafe but Staff very friendly, it is clean and the service is great. We will definately visit again although probably wouldn't eat there again just due to prices and choice.

Lovely garden centre with good selection of plants especially on the sale stall.

Great selection of plants and an abundance of Christmas decorations! My only complaint is that it's sometimes a bit hard to find staff to help out. But otherwise a great place to visit.
