The food hall here is amazing. The home made Scotch pies are incredible. Also love the zero packaging items.
Well done, a fantastic place well worth many a visit.

Large garden centre with very good quality stock at reasonable prices. In addition they have and excellent cafe that does fish and chips that are fabulous. If they were not enough they have a first class bakery and butcher and more general gift shop. Well worth a visit. They have a particularly good selection of garden statuary.
Visited again today a couple of months later and the cafe was as good as ever.

Just a fabulous, unpretentious, all you need and more #gardencentre near lovely #Usk. The cafe is fantastic too!
Honestly, I could happily do my weekly food shop here!

Really nice garden centre and always make a point of visiting when in the area. Our second visit was equally nice. Lovely farmers style food hall, cafe, plant selection and beautiful gifts.

25/11/22: Usk & Cardiff Weekend

Really enjoyed our brief visit here. As is all Garden Centres and Farm Shops, they are pretty expensive. However, I couldn't resist getting some unusual cheeses, Pastel de Natas, and a ham & cheese Ciabatta.

Morris' is a very well stocked farm shop, lots of choice, lots of amazing chutneys. a purveyor of alcohol and a fantastic selection of bakeries, patisserie, cheese, and butchery. Not to mention a fresh fruit & vegetables, crisps, snacks and dairy. A seller of homemade ready meals and frozen fish.

Dog friendly and has a good pets corner for food and treats.

The cafe uses local produce whenever possible , and is open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon teas.

History: The Nurseries Llanbadoc was purchased by Chris and Jane Morris in 1982, over 30 years ago. During this time the nursery mainly grew tomatoes, cut flowers and some annual bedding plants. As demand grew for these plants so did production. Over the years more glass houses were erected and a larger range of bedding plants were grown. At one point the nursery was supplying all the major garden centres in the area with their annual bedding plants.

As time marched on and demand increased, Chris and Jane decided to open a retail store. Morris' of Usk Garden Centre opened its doors to the public in 1990.

Coming right up to date, Morris' of Usk continues to be a family owned and run business. Chris and Jane's eldest daughter Kate James now manages the Garden Centre and Café, while daughter in-law Helen Morris manages the Food Hall. More recently grand children have joined the Morris' team.

Morris' of Usk has a great team of experienced and dedicated staff, committed to delivering our high standards and reputation for excellent customer service. They continue to grow a large number of plants in our two acre nursery, ensuring top quality plants and brilliant value for money for all our valuable customers.

I thoroughly enjoy visiting this place, wonderful produce with lots of selection. The cafe serves lovely food but it just isn’t worth trying due to the attitude of some of the cafe staff, the older lady with a blonde bob has been consistently rude and stroppy, everyone I’ve brought to try the food has commented on her poor attitude. I have been a few times just in case she was having a bad day but it seems this is just the way she deals with customers and it really does ruin the whole experience . I will definitely return for the garden centre and the food hall again but I will not visit the cafe and wouldn’t advise anyone else to, it’s a shame as like I said it is lovely food. Hopefully management can train this lady on how to serve the public properly and how to actually conduct yourself professionally in a place of work.

WOW this place has so much stock that you don't see in other shops. With a lovely Bakery and restaurant 😋
It's a shame we were only on holiday in the area.

It was very bare when we visited. It looked like they were doing some renovation work. The cafe here is very reasonable and good quality and quantity. This particular garden centre is slightly more expensive than other garden centres nearby.
