Jacksons

Lovely place to visit. I bought a beautiful jacket from there on sale. Lovely things for the home especially if you like smellies. The food is lovely too. Very impressive cafe.

Our first time here. Not only excellent plants, but also expert advice on what to buy. The cafe was also packed, coffee and scones were very good too.

Busy coffee shop located within Jackson Garden Center. Good made to order food, we had Panini with option of a variety of fillings and quiche, all came with salad. Good selection of cakes! Can be rather noisy during busy lunch hour. We wandered through the vast households and plants sections after lunch, rather enjoyable.

The garden centre and miscellaneous goods area are nice. Plenty of choice. The restaurant is lacking what it used to have, smiles. Only one waiter, Suzanna I think, was über friendly. The others were doing their job. One even "served" 2 dishes by shoving them onto the table and walking off. Lack of choice on the menu means only one thing, we won't be going there again.

Cafe is excellent value and quality (breakfast only sampled so far).
Site rambles, it might take some time to explore!

Edit. It did! Prices very reasonable, seemed quite popular as well, considering the location is not really in a large population area.

We had a lovely lunch here, check the queue for lunch before going round the garden centre as I think they give you a buzzer to come back when your table is ready if they are busy so you don't have to wait in a queue (what a great idea).
The Christmas displays are amazing with so much choice.
We love the indoor plant room as well!

Long time since my last visit .. but lots of really good changes . The cafe was a welcome sight after accompanying my better half whilst she perused the Christmas decorations for a few hours 🤪. Service was ok. They have quite a lot of young, inexperienced staff. Many things were needed to be asked for , rather than provided.
Food quality was very good . I enjoyed , one of favourites when I I'm in North Wales, Welsh Rarebit. Homemade cakes quickly sold out ..so grab one when ordering your food.

Lovely garden centre with an excellent cafe restaurant. Jacksons is a great place to visit, especially pre Christmas, as they have an amazing display of Christmas decorations and everything Christmas to decorate your home. Staff are wonderfully welcoming and chatty and always eager to help. Large car park and overflow parking. The day I visited it was snowing heavily and it was a bit of a skating rink but not anyone's fault, still had a great visit and bought some individual decorations for my tree and some tasty ĺooking pickle and chutneys for my Christmas table. Plants all looked healthy and well cared for . A place you can easily spend money. Always something of interest. A recommended garden centre to visit not just at Christmas but all year round.
