Totally fab and the greenhouses are very nice.
Very relaxing and often you can see the groups out doing oil painting from local societies like Putney Arts club.
A very worthwhile place to spend a sunny afternoon.

Horticultural gem, from the glass house to the fruit and vegetables, loved the market stall with its honesty box, and the arch way of trees as seen in the photos I took hope you like them?
The display of pumpkins in the vine house for the harvest festival was a pleasant surprise.

Pleasant area for a walk. Lots of open grass areas to sit and relax if you like. Interesting array of plant life that is probably very nice in peak spring/early summer. Visited in mid-March and there were some daffodils in bloom (along with some purple flower).

The garden is more like a farm as it contains large areas of fields with greenhouses. It was interesting to see farmers working hard in the field in a place which is so close to central London.

I live fairly locally so I go to the walled garden regularly and it’s beautiful in all seasons. Somehow I’d never visited before in September and it turns out it’s when the garden is at its best! Well done to the gardeners, it was so colourful and vibrant.

A delightfully quiet sanctuary, beautifully maintained by gardeners and volunteers. It's the perfect place to escape from the riverside crowds and manic joggers but I just wish there were more benches - maybe it's to discourage people from sitting during the pandemic? There also used to be deckchairs which were so picturesque. Fingers crossed all will return back to normal soon.
