Very relaxing and offers a wide range of activities. Perfect for artists, teachers and the ordinary person for a relaxing experience. However, it is situated right next to the train station. It doesn't usually get in the way as the station is not busy but occasionally a cargo train can affect your experience. But still a great place for children and adults!

Very pleasant space with little pathways to get lost in and a sunny terrace to sit in enjoying a book. Right next to the railtracks but as there is a train every 15min it is a quiet spot.

An amazing garden just above the overground in Hampstead Heath, which seems more green, rich and magical with each year. Today, just past half January, there are flowers and shrubs in bloom, my favourite one being the sweet, yellow Mahonia.
Wind chimes sing in the wind all year round, which is what first called me here.
Awesome!

Rehabilitated sloping wasteland abutting railway administered by a charity and maintained by volunteers.
Meticulously landscaped slither of land that's worth seeking out if hereabouts.
Revisited 2019 - This is now looking outstanding. Bravo 👏🏽 👏🏽

This is a beautiful garden, now fully grown. I often go there to meditate. I am disappointed that it's now being advertised as a good place to take children as last time I went, parents were allowing their children to race up & down shouting and one child weed next to me while I was trying to meditate.

This kind of place should be seen on daily basis across the whole city.
It is spectacular and very relaxing. It's like an urban jungle with a touch of modernity.
If you want to hide away from noise and busy streets just go there.

Sublime, secretive plot of peace right up against the Hampstead Heath overground station. This volunteer-run wildlife spot is very well-tended, thoughtfully designed with natural benches, small ponds and trails creeping around trees, flowers and bushes of all kinds. I’ve seen all manner of birds flitting around the place, and though the trains run past the garden every few minutes, the garden shields you from the noise and traffic.
Despite the proximity to the station, it seems very few people even realize it’s there, so you can often find it pretty empty. Remarkably peaceful, full of birdsong and sounds of nature.

I went here and enjoyed myself greatly. However they seemed to have a mixup as there is no world peace. I wonder if there is a way I can bring this about myself.
