Quite small but really nice garden. Lots of benches everywhere to sit down and admire the view/have a snack, however, we couldn't see a single bin in the park. We visited as we are NT members but otherwise, the price would have been a bit too steep. Really nice cafe and playground (for younger children).

Beautiful weather and plenty of car parking space available. Car parking is Free I think parking fee inc ticket price :) then it is worth to come for day out. We spent 3-4 hours and enjoyed walk. And very near farm store! 🌟 clean toilet and big cafe and Icecream 🍦 Great fun, but feel like something missing .. 🥹😂 not much flower lots of tree 🌲🌳🌳and birds!

Lovely, landscaped gardens. You enter and almost straight away come to the lake. We walked around the lake and then up and around the amphitheatre. You can hire a rowboat and do some rowing on the lake. It was £10 for 30 mins. You can have up to six in the boat but no dogs are allowed in the boat. You are allowed dogs in the garden but they must be kept on a short lead. There were several areas that were roped off due to them having been reseeded with grass. There were no bins around the grounds until you get back to the car park. It was a very nice, pleasant walk and we stopped and had a picnic lunch there. Would definitely recommend although it was a bit smaller than most of the National Trust sites we visit.

What a lovely place to spend time, a pleasant walk, deckchairs by the lake; either in the sun or the shade. Entertaining waterfowl; swans coot, moorhens, geese ducks even a heron. Nice cafe. Worth every penny of your NT membership or entry fee!

The playground of the Royals. Apparently Queen Victoria herself used to play around this park. It's small and charming, full of birds and benches. Easy to walk around the pond even with the little ones. The hill is not that steep and you'll have great views from the top. The hill behind is also quite accesible and you'll be able to see Belvedere Tower from the locked gate.
Scooter, bikes and balls are not allowed.

Came here with the free autumn visit voucher. Wouldn’t mind paying for it. It is a nice well kept area. Easy footpaths suitable for everyone. Excited to see some chestnuts on the ground to be picked.

A nice place for a short walk and it is very beautiful, the staff were very friendly and professional too. However... £11 entry is waaay too much. You can very easily walk around the gardens in less than an hour at a slow pace, there is not much too see and very little information, it would be good to have some history to read as you move around the gardens. If you're a NT member and you don't have to pay to enter it would be worth visiting, but again, it's a 30-60 minute walk at best so will not keep you entertained for long. £5 would be a reasonable price and a few information boards with history of the site and local area would greatly improve the experience.

Lovely gardens with varying lengths of walks around the lake. Great cafe and play park for the children. The only thing that wasn't great was the amount of seating in and outside the cafe and the car park. It got very busy, very early, and we ended up having to park in one of the residential roads as the additional car park across the road was also full. Also, people had parked in the lay bys either side of the entrance, blocking the pavement, which meant we had to walk in the road to get around them with two small children and a buggy.
