Such a beautiful place. It was so peaceful. The cafe was great and make the best vegan Blueberry Bakewell slice. There were plenty of places to sit and take in the scenery. We had a go in the maze, it was small but we still enjoyed it. The maze has been cleverly cut in to the number 250. I will go back again in the spring and summer to see more of the flowers.

It was a wet day and some of the garden was closed due to strong winds, but they offered half price entry as a result and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit despite the weather.
The snowdrops were still visible and the daffodils were just beginning to bloom.
Well worth a visit.

Beautiful day out, specially on sunny day. The gardens and set up are truly gorgeous. It is one of the best Rococo Gardens in UK.
This is an ideal place for solo, couples, groups or family visits.
It is not a good idea for wheelchair users or pushchairs, the trails are really uneven for them, most are bark or gravel, as well as some hills or steep steps.

You will get a plan on arrival, I'd suggest starting to the right, as you come in the garden, towards the red house.

In mid February is top snowdrops time: carpets full. In March will be daffodils and other bulbs.
The place is also full of hellebores, and you can but plants to take home.

There is a cafe with seating area (outside and inside) and access there is easier, so if you had a member in your group who could not walk the trails, thay could easily wait there.
Toilets, including changing area for babies, are around the corner.

Before March you need to reserve tickets (as of 2022). After, just turn up.
You pay on arrival, at the gift shop.
Lovely, varied, local food, soaps, art and more.

Make time to visit Painswick village, its truly beautiful.

A wonderful garden and grounds to walk around. Not too large, and (mostly) accessible with pram (but there are a few paths where you’ll have to take unusual detours in the woods to make it all work out).

Parking available on site, with a cafe and small shop at the start of the site. Wonderful for a gentle day out with kids, or a peaceful walk for adults.

Lovely walk around the gardens, took our dogs and they also enjoyed the walk. A wedding was going on while we were there and they were all having a wonderful time. I did think the garden entrance fee was a little expensive, and there is still lots of work yo do there, but still a lovely afternoon out.

Painswick Rococo Gardens was a lovely morning out. When we started our walk around the garden, the first thing you see, as you enter, is a lovely view over the kitchen garden, from high up. There are lots of follies and other buildings as you walk you follow the well laid paths. There are woodland walks and a natural play area for children. Some of the areas are very steep, but this is plenty to see, even if you can't manage these paths. There was a pond with frogs spawn and froglets in, and children were really intrigued with them. There are two mazes one easy and one a little harder, we couldn't get out of either lol. From a view point you can see 250 made with the golden hedges, as the garden is 250 years old. The cafe is lovely, with inside and outside tables and a wonderful plant stall outside.

Went on a Sunny day. The location was lovely and surrounded by the pretty village of painswick. The gardens were well kept and the grounds were spread out enough to keep a small family occupied for a few hours. You can wander and find out what’s round the next corner without having to have an interest in gardens. However, if gardens are your thing, then you’ll like the small shop and planting.

My family and I adore our visits to the Rococo Garden. We live locally and visit regularly (especially when they have trails on - particularly during half terms).

My son loved the recent Bat Trail!
