Castle Gardens

Very colourful and well kept gardens. Would be 'Blooming' in the height of Summer. Well worth visiting. The River Tame runs alongside the gardens.

Superb place to be, especially when there is a big event on like St George's Day. Makes me proud to live in Tamworth.

Pretty flower gardens next to the Tamworth castle. A bandstand often hosts all kinds of performances. Large family events also occur for St Georges day and at other times.

Really enjoyed our visit to Tamworth Castle, the Viking/Saxon day was brilliant, talking to the members of the Viking societies was fascinating.

Great music in the bandstand Comharsa playing a variety of music. Which was a free event organised by Tamworth Arts. There are lots of other events happening over the summer,take a look at their Facebook page.
A brilliant afternoon helped by the weather and lots of ice cream!

Lovely environment beautiful gardens always attractive highlight to the town centre. Mega busy nowadays and the play area has really made the place buzz with activity. Toilets when open for public have in the Castle grounds been a real serious disappointment usually they are also pristine and safe cannot say in the last few weeks that they have been. Good parking facilities in the area and not mega expensive to park at to be fair.
