The park was built in 1920s and has recently undergone a substantial restoration, making them a delightful place for recreation. Boats can be hired and there is a cafe on the boating island. A listed park and gardens, grade II, described as 'unique nationally', they are really special.

This place is a gardener paradise. Lots of very beautiful plants professionally laid out my wife and I like to walk through of an evening. There are a few open and sheltered areas for sitting and relaxing it’s a real sun trap. Lots of butterflies, birds and occasionally see a goldfish or two. Very close to Great Yarmouth Beach the quieter end. There are a few beach side cafes and on the road side a few hotel restaurants we go there every time we are in Great Yarmouth about once or twice a month. Everywhere is pay and display. Generally though after 6pm it’s free to park. Is it worth a visit. Well I think so because it’s lovely and peaceful. I don’t personally go on the boats but only because I live on the broads. It’s fun for kids. The water isn’t too deep but has a blue dye in it.

This is a great part of Great Yarmouth! Very civilised. Street parking with meter. Loos and island cafe at the north end. You can hire pedalos and rowing boats by the hour.

Lovely walk around the waterways, the stopped at the boating lake cafe and a ride on the pedalo. Was £10 for 45 mins and lots of fun for everyone and a nice afternoon.

Had a lovely afternoon at the Waterways in Great Yarmouth. The cafe and boating staff were so helpful and friendly. We rowed on the lake and had ice creams. Lots of choice and even Vegan options for me which was nice. The children loved it and set in such beautiful surroundings, close to the gorgeous beach.

Such a lovely spot for a walk or just sit and watch the ducks. A hidden gem in GY. Plenty of benches and paths good for all including mobility scooters or push chairs.

It's a lovely place to walk around or sit on one if the benches and be relaxed in such a calm and beautiful place. Good for feeding (not bread) the ducks, swans and other birds /fowl. There are some stone steps and a coffee house which also hires out the row boats. Also popular with families with young children and dog walkers, and those who want to stroll and take some peace from nature

This place is a must to go visit when you are in Great Yarmouth! The views of the water are just magnificent. There is a bridge in the center so you can take really nice photos up there.
