Beautiful gardens in a stunning location, worth a visit if you're in the area.

If you get a chance to go here, go! It'll be worth your while! We came to the gardens in September and it was absolutely stunning!!! The vista is exceptional with sweeping lawns and varied and interesting landscaping. There are benches dotted around to sit and admire the view. There's something wonderful to see round each and every corner. We even had 2 deer run right past us! The gardeners were pleasant and willing to chat. Entry fee extremely reasonably priced too. Overall, a very lovely time here. 😊

I love this garden. First time visiting it, and it was pouring with rain. Not the everyday typical garden, but this is truly inspiring and beautiful. Met the head gardener, who was a joy to talk with. So much knowledge and inspiration. One of my top gardens now.

A fascinating house of mixed architectural styles that offers a wealth of high quality twentieth century interior design complementing a fine collection of furniture, porcelain and paintings from much earlier times with much personal memorabilia that make clear this is still a family home. Set in a winding valley above a river, the house has beautifully maintained formal, informal, water and woodland gardens. There are limited catering facilities and adequate parking.

Beautiful gardens of many different types, currently accessed via a signposted route. A very enjoyable visit.

Quite stunning gardens. Very imaginative planting and hard structures with lots of fresh ideas. Well worst a visit for any gardener or plantsman.

Really pleasantly surprised by this place... excellent gardens with such immaginitive displays! We were loving each different area of the grounds ...the place in general is well worth the money.
