If you would like a nice quiet walk, after or instead of, the seaside funfair then this is probably the place for you - a lovely calm green space with views over the old harbor and some structures from its active days all making for a pleasant stroll.

Lovely place to enjoy a walk, Cold Knap one side of the Bay and Barry Island the other - gorgeous 🙂

We parked down the Knap and walked around. We sat on a bench while the children played tag on the grass for a while before we walked back the way we came. It's a lovely area to come and sit to have a chat while your children play. This area also looks great for picnics and to use with scooters and bikes. I would highly recommend this as a place to take tour children.

The beach area is treacherous. Very soft sand, like quicksand in places. I sank in the sand up to my knees. Be very careful walking in the cove/bay area, other than that it's a lovely place, very pretty and relaxing

A wonderful gardens to walk around taking in the many different species of wild fowl on the boating lake whilst sitting on the numerous benches. A very relaxing area

Nice little area to sit for a while looking at the view of the harbour and towards Barry Island. No facilities other than the bench seats and rubbish bins.
