A nice, peaceful and relaxing garden to go to. Completely hidden, we found it by accident when walking up a side street. Entrance to the garden is a bit unusual, as you have to go through someone's back garden or a tunnel from the communal playing fields.

Admiral Horatio Nelson famously visited in 1802, and there is still a plaque above the seat he sat in. There is also a mostly intact heated wall, one of the few remaining examples in Wales.

The garden has recently been funded by the Heritage Lottery and has been restored by a group of local volunteers. The garden is only open during the Summer months of April and October.

Lovely little garden. Tucked away in a very secret garden like area. Unknown to many so it's a nice little place to be able to go and chill out ad relax. Surrounded by beautiful flowers and bird song definitely a place to visit while your in Monmouth.

A nice medium sized brick walled garden with a large lawned area. With a look when open.
