How refreshing, no hard sale just friendly and professional advice/service, and no hidden costs.
Thanks to Anthony and Kieron for the quick quote and fit of our new boiler, great guys who were on time and did a clean and tidy job.
Would definitely recommend and use this company again.

Adco installed a new combi boiler for me after my old one packed in. I found them very professional from the beginning, coming out to quote very quickly and giving me a competitive price. Not the cheapest quote I had but I was impressed with them so was happy to pay a small amount more. The installation was completed within the day as I was told and the boiler has been working great since. I'll be using them in the future for my plumbing and heating needs.

Great experience from these guys, they were recommended to me by my neighbours after having another company let me down on two occasions.
They phoned to say that were running ahead of schedule and could attend earlier which was great for me.

Definitely use them again and they have put me on their annual reminder list for my boiler service too.

Thank you adco!

Had four years of issue free gas service with ADCO so, needing an EICR, I contacted them.

Inspection done in record time (less than 45 mins for 3 story house). Result of the report was a failure due to “non IP rated lights in bathroom” along with a £250 quote to resolve issues. Report also stated estimated age of wiring was approx. 30 years even though it’s a new build. As it was a new build I went back to the house builder under warranty who were adamant everything was above requirements.

This is where things started to go wrong – rather than ADCO (who I’m assuming subcontracts the electrical side of the business out to someone else) owning the issue, the message from the house builder was merely forwarded onto the contractor and then batted back with more inaccurate information. I even had to supply Googled information to show that what they were saying (Zones and associated IP requirements) was incorrect. More emails. More phone calls. More chasing to get a secondary visit. More discussions to reinforce the fact the contractor was extremely unsure of the regulations they were referencing the property against.

End result? Report now correctly states IP rating on lights are above standard. No apology and no reduction in original invoice. Asked to factor in the above and to requote. No response. Asked for complaints procedure. No response.

Cheap and cheerful company, but you get what you pay for. Expect to work hard if there are any issues with the services supplied.

I have used ADCO for a few jobs now, and each time they have been very professional in their work. Priced very reasonably, they have gone the extra mile when changing my TRV's and most recently replacing some external plumping. Each time they have been punctual and endeavoured to accommodate a tight timescale with other contractors too. Both Rob and Danny are genuine chaps who have demonstrated a high level of knowledge and are very capable for example to explain technical details to a non plumber like myself. Highly recommend and would use again for all my plumbing requirements. 👍

Booked appointment for gas fire service. No one arrived. No communication to let me know in advance. Could only get through to voicemail to find out what was going on. Danny called back next day! Appointment rearranged and guess what - no one showed and can only get through to voicemail. Seems like this is common practice from other reviews. Will not be rearranging appointment again!

Failed to turn up for an appointment that was booked weeks in advance (due to unavailability at their end). Appointment was re-arranged for today, and they failed to turn up yet again.

Failed to contact me to let me know they wouldn't be able to attend either appointment.

Complete waste of my time, terrible service. Avoid like the plague.

I have used ADCO for years now. Working as a property maintenance manager for a letting agents, we always can rely on them for all sorts of maintenance work. They are professional, they always complete work in a timely manner and are just generally an exemplary contractor. I would 100% recommend their work. Plus, they’re just generally really lovely humans!
