Not sure what other people are talking about regarding rude staff. I’ve always had a positive experience here in the 7 months I’ve visited. Good selection of food, drink and groceries and the coffee machines are such a convenience for me in the morning! The place is kept tidy and the staff are always up for a chat. Would recommend.

Awful manager Thulasi at Berkhamstead Shell Petrol station, has no organsation skills, very rude and aggressive towards customers and lies about your hours, was told I would have a full time position which was 40 hours per week, then after numerous phone calls to get my rota for the week either ignored me or told me he would call me back when he never did, I had to actually go into the garage on several occasions asking when I’m working, was then later told after 3 weeks of working there I didn’t have a full time position and was only doing weekend evening shifts which I did not want. He is an absolutely awful lying manager, I would not recommend working for this garage what so ever. If I could give 0 stars then I would.

Con artists. The Car Wash Polish Spray is not working since August 2019. You pay the premium price and get not polish. Instead, the rubber brushes go all over the car with nothing on it and scrach it all over. If you have a new car, or you care about your vehicle, make sure you dont wash it there.

Dirty toilets and rude staff every time I've been here.. They need to change something

Teresa refused to serve me because she couldn’t work out how to make the till work properly and made a spectacle of me saying I was being the problem. Atrocious customer service

Helpful staff. One of the best car washes around! Diesel and petrol still more expensive than other garages though.
