Sainsbury's Petrol Station

During the day staff are generally polite and helpful, evenings are completely different! Staff are lazy and can't be bothered. As a staff member in a different store I know what customer service can and can't do but the member of just lied to my face and try to talk down for me like I'm stupid even when I showed evidence of the correct online price!

The staff a great here.. I've got used to them simply stopping what they are doing and taking me to the other side of the store to help me locate an obscure item if I can't find it. And THEN they ask me if there is anything else they can help me with! All of them. A great bunch.

Parking is a breeze. There's nothing to dislike.

Had two very helpful young ladies in Hoddesdon store today. No trouble for one on gents clothing to go and search for another size in jeans, and Nancie, was extremely helpful in tracing a jacket for us and then ordering it at Harlow and we able to pick up later today. Pleasant girls.

Huge branch with ample parking and everything you need from a superstore. This obviously includes toilets too. Not too much I can say apart from there being everything you need and expect and has a petrol station next door.

Sainsbury's itself is very good, however the reason behind my indifferent scoring is due to the Argos inside. Went in today at 7am, to purchase 3 items and was told that they have to order them in and that they would be there for me to collect at 16:00! What's that all about? Why can't I buy the goods there and then?

Prices are always keen. Usually swift to fuel up & pay.
Can pick up a few basic foodstuff items at same time.

Be careful if you need petrol after 9pm. I pulled up at 9.40pm on Friday 30th Dec after a long journey and they were closed (supposed to close at 10pm). Lucky enough a petrol station nearby was open

Fuel but not selling apparently. Sunday morning 26th. Dozens queued for over an hour with no communication from staff to queuing cars and nothing on website. Utter shameful and bad customer service.
