Stopped here today as I had a puncture. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Arranged a mobile tyre company for me and I was on my way in no time. Thanks guys. Much appreciated!

4 out of 5 shell fuel stations has the toilets locked to avoid cleaning. After topping up and spending lots of money you can't use their toilet..... This should be part of inspection fail across shell chain.

Terrible service from rude staff! Topped up my fuel today and entered the shop (previous customer just leaving so cashier had clearly been at the till), only to find cashier helping delivery man unload. Not an issue but he didn’t acknowledge me in any way. When, unsure if I’d been seen, I said “excuse me, am I able to pay?” I was berated for being inpatient as he allegedly had seen me enter the store and said I did not need to be entitled. If wanting to pay for fuel is entitled then I’m very happy to be less so!

I frequent Shell Ashtead, in the mornings, in order to purchase petrol, and other bits and bobs. It's always an incredibly smooth experience facilitated by the wonderful cashier (I believe his name is Senthil?) who is always exceptionally friendly and very expedient with any requests or help.

I think now is as good a time as any to recognise the gentleman who runs/works at this garage; we are local so have used it for many years. He always greets you with a smile and goes the extra mile to help you plus the site is always immaculately kept. Amongst all the recent chaos with fuel supply, these guys are having to cope with extra stress, enquiries and bursts of high activity which again he seems to maintain his excellent level of service and friendliness. Very highly appreciated :)

Poor Senthil was working on his own during the busiest time in recent years and he did it with a smile!
I watched him run around putting ‘out of order’ signs on pumps then back in the shop to serve customers, then back out again to open boxes outside. I queued for half an hour to refuel and everyone was highly stressed but when I came into the shop he was very calm, collected and cheerful.

Unfortunately, don't know the name of the cashier who was serving me today, however, he was very nice and friendly. I used the toilet that he also needs to supervise and it was super clean. Definitely recommend this place.

Always great service from this place, with a smile too! Staff here are really helpful and friendly. Must be very tough at the moment but they're doing a great job!
