The chocolate chip oatmeal cookies are our favourites anywhere - AND you can buy Monmouth coffee beans. A destination in itself - we love it here!

The guy at the till was borderline rude. I accidentally drove through the wrong entrance, though I didn't obstruct anyone going in or out, I thought it was only fitting that I apologize for my mistake, just out of curtsey. When I entered the store to pay and also apologized for my mistake, the guy couldn't even be bothered looking at me, let alone give any kind of response, not even a hello, thank you, goodbye, nothing. Combine this with the place being a bit overpriced and I probably won't come back.

I don't recall visiting the Gulf but then I realized we were talking about a petrol station of the same name! And a rare one at that. Small, old fashioned with the personal touch.

Quite an odd place, but I like it and more petrol stations should be like this! Random things for sale like great cakes and pastries, but no servicing etc.

Has a good selection of organic biscuits and cakes
