Applegreen Petrol Station

Before the Ukraine war this was the cheaper place in Aylesbury to buy fuel, now the cheapest is the new Sainsbury petrol station, just down the road to the big Sainsbury! But here there is also a very handy Subway!!

I have been into the shop a couple of times for non fuel related reasons. It is always quiet, never too busy when there isn't a fuel demand. Subway is inside, also nice and quiet. Hermes drop off point inside not working a few times I went in, which causes some issues. Overall an okay experience.

Exit and entrance at both end should be one way as it causes issues at times, like all fuel prices going up e10 already here as well as super unleaded, diesel as well. Can buy General stuff, milk bread, crisp, chocolate, coffee, etc used to be cheap then others but o think they going up like BP and shall a rip off and abusing customers loyalty by jacking up the prices. Just as of yesterday 24/6/22 BP unleaded 184 normally BP very high but then saw apple green used to be the lowest year ago same day applegreen 188 unleaded what kind of justice is this! Stop going to Applegreen, I know government has a hand tax, VAT, UNFAIR, more punishment for hard working family's, drivers struggling hard life. have to look around and keep eye out at ⛽️ stations.

Really disappointed today. I have used this garage for fuel and parcel collection and drop off for a long time and have always been pleased.
Today the girl behind the counter was appalling. We went in to drop off a vinted parcel at the evri drop and when we approached the printer she shouted something at us that neither of us could understand. I asked her to repeat that and she huffed and said it again. My husband worked out she was saying we could print but not drop the parcel and then she went on the say we should still print the label here as if we went elsewhere the printer might not work which I appreciated and was helpful.
We tried to print the label something we have done multiple times before and it wasn’t reading the code. She came over to help which was appreciated but her attitude is a disgrace. She barked that we needed a QR code and I pointed out we did and it looked exactly the same as the code in the instruction images. She snorted at me and said that they don’t accept vinted, I pointed out that it specifically says on the vinted app I can print and drop and she rudely declared ‘we don’t accept vinted.’ She then shouted ‘that’s not a QR code I’ll show you what you be looks like’ I didn’t follow her and replied saying ‘yes I know what a QR code looks like’ then I was sarcastic because I was sick of her attitude. So yes I shouldn’t have been sarcastic but I was fed up of her. This caused her to start screaming and shouting at us calling us everything under the sun, we started to walk out and she continues her vile ranting, swearing and slamming around behind the counter. We were outside the shop walking away and she was still mouthing off to herself.
I don’t think I’ve ever written a bad review before because I have never been somewhere that I’ve experience such bad service. I was shocked by her behaviour. I’ve given 3 stars as I think this is fair this review is only about the girl in question as normally the service is fine in applegreen but I’d seriously have a word with this girl about her attitude.

Good place for anyone in the Micklefield area to refuel or do a little food/snacks
& other sundries.

Always an A1 service from Anthony; the big guy with the pony tail who has virtually run the show for years now!!
