ESSO RONTEC BROADFIELD

This is not a bad garage but a couple of staff, not all, can be a bit rude. I recently went there to fill the car and was greeted with a sign on the pump advising that I had to pay within the garage first. When I went in to asked why, the chap said “Pay First” no reason given, it was only when I persisted he said it was because the previous day three customers had taken fuel and driven off without paying. Well that’s fair enough, but if I want to fill the car up, how do I know exactly what the cost will be, I could have put £30 in and then gone to another garage to fill the tank to capacity but that’s not what I wanted to do. My question is, if I had said well I want £60 of fuel and the car only took £55 and I had already paid, what was their intention, simply to give me £5 cash from the till? Needless to say I won’t be back gents.

Friendly staff and good space for cars to fill up.
Also has the advantage of having an Amazon locker. But not much room to park and pick up stuff.
The shop has enough for essential items, but small. And a carwash is good too.
it can get congested when busy, and tight to get into.
They have made very good use of the space.
Fuel prices are not the cheapest, but very reasonable considering the location.

this petrol station staff is shocking. I'm not English myself but if you going to be working in a petrol station you need to have a good English communication with a good customer service which most of the staff there don't have. they don't listen to you when you speak you ask to speak to a manager then found out he's altitude was worst then the actual staffs. is a joke sort the staff out I'm definitely not going there again and anyone else that i know either is really bad and something needs to be changed in there

Not bad, pay at pump available and fuel price is cheaper than most.

Don’t use the car wash. £7.50 and it doesn’t even dry the car. Go to Tesco instead.

Twice now they have taken nectar card and not swiped saying points will get added automatically on over £200 worth of petrol and nor receipt available - same person womN with long curly hair.Both times no points went on.

Not a great place be careful with how much it says on pump and how much they ask for money. Bought orange juice in carton it was clearly off wouldn't refund!!

Pay at pump doesn't work. They haven't put any signs up. Had to walk in the store to get staff to release the pump so I could fuel up. Staff care at all. More interested in themselves then service customers
