Great to find some places open New year day, nice shop and Subway food outlet, better still it has a working car wash !
Went in for a New Year adventure.
I've never expected £7 to get much these days but it cleaned my car fairly well and my mum-in-law likes going through them when she gets the chance. It's a bit tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area or have no tech to use but it's open and everything works. Cheers.

Petrol station is generally in good conditions, nice they now have a Subway and coffee machine.

Only minor issues are the staff don't seem to be trained about the loyalty schemes, had a few time when they don't understand how it works (not there fault, just lack of training given). Also some of the pumps need replacing as the leak slightly.

Filled up motorbike today. Heard something over loudspeaker somewhere but couldn’t make it out. Went to pay. Guy on the till asks me if I was listening to him asking me to take helmet off. I said with helmet on and earplugs in I had no idea what was being said and to who. He said I should remember next time. There won’t be a next time. Other biker filling up said he uses it all the time and has never been asked!?!

I went there to grab a subway sandwich and a cup of Costa coffee before get my train I made the coffee and move to subway section once the sandwich is done I forgot the pay coffee I was walking out the on the counter shout EXCUSE ME! there is nothing wrong with it. I forgot to pay. he call me. I apologized. However, the way he was looked at me made me uncomfortable. Treaded like a theft not nice especially few people lining behind you. I won't use them again.

The staff here sell bogus car wash tickets. Then vandalise your car when you ask for your money back. Avoid like the plague.

Karine gave us the best customer service we’ve ever experienced, so friendly and happy and so apologetic when our order was wrong even offering us cookies, she deserves a pay rise.

Great place to charge your electric car on the geniepoint station (I would say the £1 connection charge should be on the info at the front of the charger, rather than a sticker on the side that no one sees). On with the positives, the shop is great and you can get coffee, food, including the Subway shop in shop and a nice clean toilet for a comfort break if required. There is also a car wash here. The process seen reasonable compared with others in the area.
